We had 7 people and there was tons of room, kitchen, living room, game room and the beautiful porch was perfect.Wish there was a larger bed downstairs if you have extra adults and no children.Kitchen over the top with everything you need and thank you for the usable bbq.Loved the historic background of this house.Best place for good friends and family!Thank you

This property has so much space to hang out for a large group - both large, open and small spaces. We enjoyed all of the rooms inside and the expansive porch and yard! The view, space, and location were fantastic! Thanks for having a great space for a family get-together for a long weekend!

The home was stunning and had marvelous views! Every meal was spent outside looking at the Columbia River. Only complaint would be the air conditioner was not working properly so kids couldn’t sleep upstairs.

This house was very big and very nice, and was a great place to stay in The Dalles. It could easily handle 4 familys with room to spread out.Kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed to prep dinnr, with tons of plates and utencils to go around.

Great Stay

Very beautiful house with an even better view. When not out exploring the area, we enjoyed the fantastic wrap around porch. The kitchen was well stocked with everything and more than one would need.

Spring break getaway

Unique, beautiful home with amazing views of the Columbia River. The property was spacious, quiet and private. The house was extremely comfortable with lots of fun amenities, and the host was very accommodating.

Loved our stay!

We had a little family reunion with my dad who lives in Goldendale. The house was perfect with lots of space for everyone. The toddler loved the room in the basement with the pretend stove and tee pee The porch and the views were amazing! When we come to visit my dad again, we will definitely be coming back!

AWESOME

We were in the area for our son’s wedding. What a fabulous place to stay! Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. As soon as you walk in you feel at home!! Ample space for guests. Super Clean! Amazing views! This has yo be the number one place to stay in The Dalles.

Gorgeous Gorge VaCa

This vacation rental far exceeded our expectations. We did not expect the unbelievable view of the Columbia river, downtown, & gorge views. The attentive manager was A++ Very nice & safe neighborhood too. We will return next year, maybe sooner.

Stunning views and great family stay

We loved this home! First off, the views of the gorge are incredible. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch and watching the sunset. The home is super cool and historical, but has been updated in the places you want like the kitchen, giant family/game room, and AC making it very comfortable. This was a great hub for our family trip to the gorge. We went to Hood River, hiked the area, and The Dalles itself had fun things to do (museums, winery, cool historical downtown).

This is a spacious historical home with a magnificent view. It has a wonderful updated kitchen with ever possible tool and appliance one might need for a family feast, including enough plates, bowls, and glassware for a large group. The beds are super comfy and the entire home is spotless. The rec room with pool table provides a great space for fun, and the basement is set up with the little ones in mind. One of the most inviting places, though, is the large wrap-around porch with a view of the city, mountains, and Columbia river.
