This second floor ocean view vacation rental overlooks the stunning Head Harbour Passage and has perfect sunset views. Enjoy sunsets on your personal balcony overlooking the ocean and be whisked away by the peaceful surroundings. Make sure to be prepared to see whales, porpoises and wildlife! It is walking distance to The Pier waterfront restaurant and also beaches to beach comb for sea glass and other beach treasures! This cozy rental unit is in the heart of Wilsons Beach and is close to all nearby attractions, including the East Quoddy Lighthouse - one of the most photographed lighthouses in Atlantic Canada. A few miles away is the summer home of former President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The Roosevelt Park located at the southeast end of Campobello Island, has 2800 acres of natural area with beautiful hiking/biking trails accessible for everyone to enjoy!

Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and return the keys
If you have time it would be nice if you could put the sheets in the washing machine and start it. All used towels can be left in the tub.
Wash any dirty dishes. Make sure lights are turned off and return the door key to the lock box. Leave door unlocked.
You don’t have to deal with the trash unless you want to. There is a black garbage can down on the first floor to the right at the bottom of the stairs if you want to dispose of it there you can.

A perfect spot for a very peaceful few days. Sunsets were soothing. The walk to dinner at The Pier convenient. Comfy bed and surroundings. Close to the lighthouse as welll.

One of the most thoughtful places I’ve ever stayed. Everything was thought of including local menus, bug spray, you name it. Location on Campobella was ideal. Found lots of sea glass on adjacent cove and walked to dinner nightly. Views were stunning from the deck. And we did see a whale!

Beautifully appointed place. Hosts were fast to respond. View is really nice. All the furnishings are very nice. A few items to note: mosquitoes are an issue trying to set outside. The adjoining apts are extremely close so it’s not at all private. They can see you and you them. Thankfully they were not loud. The internet was spotty at best, so don’t try and work them there. The Pier restaurant within walking distance was excellent. Convenient to anyplace on Campobello.

Hi Geo, thank you for your review. In regard to the mosquitos, they are usually only an issue coming on dusk, all day and early evening they are not a problem as we are so near the ocean. If you had an issue with the internet I wish you would have told me during your visit, usually a phone call to our internet provider and getting a refresh is all it needs. We have never had a complaint about it before.

Sunset Suite is clean, well appointed, and spacious. The check in process was both secure and simple. However, on our first morning in the suite a man walked in without even knocking. When asked who he was and what he wanted he replied he didn't expect to see us in the suite. He noticed our vehicle was not present, and he assumed we were out. We know that he was not checking to see if we had arrived yet, because he did not try to use a key to unlock the door. We understand that the culture on Campobello can be that locals just walk in on each other. But if you are uncomfortable with someone checking to see if your vehicle is gone, then going up to check the suite, then this may not be the place for you. I did message Natalie with questions about this incident as we believed this man to be her husband, but we also had to consider someone was watching the place. An almost immediate response acknowledged our concern and communicated she would look into it and get back to us. We heard nothing until we messaged her that we had completed the clean up tasks for checking out, and that we were checking out a night early. Her reply to our early check out did not address the questions we had posed. It is only because we did not have our own car there that we were even made aware of this. We messaged VRBO with screenshots of the chat included, and we have not heard anything back.We are now staying comfortably elsewhere on the island.

Hi Marian, first off when you made the reservation you booked our suite for two adults so when you arrived later in the day on check in day we saw your vehicle in the driveway. My husband got up in the early morning, probably around 4 to 4:30 am. to let our little dog out, he noticed your vehicle was gone. I got up around 6:30 to get ready for work and noticed there wasn’t a vehicle over next door either( we just live next door to the rental) I mentioned it to my husband that our guests were not there and he said when he let the dog out around 4:30 am the vehicle was gone then. We didn’t know there was a third adult guest that could have taken the truck and left because the booking was for only two people. I left to go to work for the day but I thought maybe there was an emergency and they had to suddenly leave. My husband went over awhile after I left the house and thought he would check to make sure everything was turned off because he honestly didn’t think there was anyone there. He knows now that he should have knocked but it was an innocent mistake. If you read our previous reviews from guests you will see that our prior guests have had wonderful experiences and have had no complaints about our hosting. We never would enter the rental suite when there are guests there. It was an honest mistake and my husband apologized and quickly left. My husband, Dana and I have been married for 50 yrs. and have lived here in Wilsons Beach, we are good standing citizens of the island

A short visit to Campobello

The apartment was as promised, brand new and spotless. The four of us enjoyed our stay immensely. We especially enjoyed spotting whales from the sunset deck. Look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Awesome Sunset Views

The location up a flight of stairs was perfect to setup a nice view of the beach and sunsets. We saw and heard whales going through the straights in the AM. The coffee maker accepts Keurig pods and the insuite laundry was appreciated. Every was clean and we look forward to staying again.

Absolutely perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very tastefully and thoughtfully done. Exceptionally clean. The deck is perfect for admiring the sunset views of the bay. Everything we needed was in place. The location was easy to reach and peaceful. The hosts were gracious and communication prompt. Campobello Island is a treasure with lots to see and explore. A treat of a get-away!

Wonderful views of the ocean and great location in Campobella Island!

This was our first experience renting a vacation apartment and this place was just amazing! We were so happy with our choice. The apartment was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. Both my husband and I felt like we were at home. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked!!! The kitchen was amazing and we enjoyed cooking together. Breathtaking View

The Sunset Suite exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated - but was also perfectly appointed with lots of items that usually aren’t supplied like paper towels, dish and hand soap, even tea bags and sugar! But the incredible ocean view from the private deck definitely steals the show. I’m already thinking about a return trip.

Sunset Suite

Our stay was amazing, the rental was very nicely decorated and we were very comfortable there. The kitchen was easy to cook in and our bed was super comfortable. But the view.. was outstanding!! Beautiful bay view, amazing sunset and we also saw a fogbow! Also Campobello was magnificent as well. We saw, spectacular sunsets, a fogbow, whales, dolphins, seals, eagles, we got seaglass, and sand dollars… oh and some “ heart rocks”. We went with our two granddaughters

Wow!

We extended our stay on Campobello to experience the Island from this waterfront property. We were glad we did. The home was super clean, super comfortable, super quiet, well-equipped and provided stunning views of the water and wildlife. The owner really thought of everything needed to make your stay wonderful. Thank you so much! We highly recommend taking an Island Tour and visiting the Roosevelt house. We especially loved learning more about Eleanor and FDR at the tea. We also left the Island via ferry to Deer Island, then took another ferry to L'Etete as we continued on to St. John. Sure beats highway driving. Just a note to those travelling off-season. There were very few restaurant options in late September. The one within walking distance to the property was closed. As a result, we dined in most of the time--which was fine for a short stay. The nearby convenience store was good for basic provisions; the one market on the Island had more offerings, but had limitations.

We had such a pleasant stay. Apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Sunset view from balcony is priceless. Great place to unwind. Got to meet the host Natalie who was very friendly. If your a sea glasser walk to the Pier Restaurant right up the street to gain the beach access and you’ll come back with handfuls! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway! Havre de paix sur l'île Campobello

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. L'appartement avait tout ce qu'il nous fallait. Sa terrasse avec vue sur la mer, les baleines et les couchers de soleil nous a séduit.
