Just two blocks from main street in downtown Bozeman, the Dahlia House is tucked away on Church Avenue, a quiet, tree-lined street in one of Bozeman’s oldest neighborhoods. Built in 1904, this historic home retains its vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, hardwood floors, and antique finishings, while offering modern qualities such as grid-tied solar panels and core bonded insulation keeping it cool in the summer and cozy in winter. The owner of the Dahlia House operates a small organic permaculture farm just north of town. This provides seasonal opportunities to have fresh flowers or vegetables delivered during your stay from about June through September.
The Dahlia house has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a warm living room with a beautiful stone fireplace, and is fully equipped with a modern kitchen and solar electricity! About the host
Hosted by Paul
I work in medicine but also own a permaculture educational farm just north of Bozeman.
Why they chose this property
I like to be able to walk out the door and sit by Bridger Creek, along the trails that border this subdivision. Plus I can ride my bike to town or to the local swimming beach. I don't golf but there is a great course right across the street.
I was able to buy this townhouse and finish it just how I have always wanted. It's built to last and equipped with top of the line appliances and furnishings. It has radiant floor heat which is the only way to go in Montana winters, plus it is well insulated and has high ceilings with great light.
What makes this property unique
Sustainable super-insulated home with solar electricity and electric car charger! Free, fast WiFi for remote learning/working needs. Keyless self check-in.
