The home is very new. I think we were one of the first renters. With that come some challenges that may be worked out in time, but made it a less than ideal experience for our family this time. Issues include:
1. The home is overseen by a property management company who have zero knowledge about the property and handle all billing outside of VRBO through a different payment portal. This made it difficult to have questions answered and to keep track of everything.
2. The listing said the home could sleep 20. Not even remotely true. It can sleep 7, maybe 8. When I contacted the property management company about this, their response was "not sure why it says that"...that was it.
3. We had requested pictures of the property for months leading up to our stay, and never received them. Again, the property management company apparently has never set foot on site, and had no first hand knowledge of the property. There are still no pictures of the property as of the posting of this review.
4. The property is not quite ready for guests. It is new and clean, but still needs some clean up. There were piles of construction debris in the front yard, front porch was still not fully completed.
5. The home is small. There were 7 of us, and if felt like we were on top of each other. The home is also very loud. There is one central room that has the living room, kitchen, and loft that are all connected together. We found that sound bounced off the walls that connect all of these spaces and made it VERY noisy. If the TV was on in the living room or in the loft, it dominated the space.
6. Two of the beds did not have top sheets. This made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. We looked through the house and there were no top sheets.
