About this property

If I can dream with wifi & pets, room to park the boat

A home away from home, a place to relax and chill and enjoy time with those that matter the most.
Taupo has a significant meaning to our family, being somewhere our Dad took us every year to camp throughout the summer. We created many special memories here and hope that you will create lots of amazing memories here too.

Located on the outskirts of town. It is a 10 minute walk to the local restaurant & bar, dairy & take away. If you fancy some pampering there is also a hairdresser.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 2 bunk beds. Linen is included.

Please note there isn`t any clothes storage available in the master. There are wardrobes in the other 2 bedrooms.

Please note there is a retaining wall, without a barrier, around the deck area which is quite high. Please supervise young children when on the lawn area.

The house is located on a private back section with parking available for 3 cars or 2 cars and a boat.

A member of Great Lake Stays will be available throughout your stay.

A port-a-cot is available on request - please bring your own linen.
A baby chair is available, which is secured onto a dining room chair.

The house is dog friendly - please advise if you will be bringing a dog. We would appreciate if dogs can be kept off beds and furniture please.

If you have small children there is a retaining wall , without a barrier, which can be seen in the photos, please be mindful of this when booking.

Breakfast is not provided.
Strictly no parties or gatherings.
Only the maximum number of guests stated on the booking are permitted to stay. If extra guests are found to be at the property they will be asked to leave.
Non compliance of the maximum number of guests or the no party rule may result in eviction without refund.

No tents.

Smoking outside only. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

Cozy suntrap

Very well appointed warm, cozy home. We enjoyed our stay and were very happy to be able to have our Beagle come too. Very well fenced and secure. House is an absolute suntrap and is very well equipped. Lovely comfortable furnishings. Spotlessly clean. Location was very quiet and peaceful. Handy to town and new Countdown at Wharewaka. Great communication and informative instructions on hand upon arrival. We would happily revisit again.

Practical for families and dog owners

Property was clean and tidy, open plan and had everything you need. We actually liked that the house was modern, but the house wasnt overly immaculate to the point where you were become too worried/uncomfortable to stay there. It was relaxing and cosy. We highly appreciated being able to bring our dogs, which is the main reason we were able to take a family holiday. The property is well fenced and visitors can shut the gate for peace of mind. We'd love to come back soon if possible :)

Great house - clean and tidy. Secure garden for dog - who loved his stay here. My family had a great time visiting - great location for exploring Taupo on foot and by car :) recommend
