Sleeps 8 adults. All bedrooms have a queen bed. Upper level: 3 bdrms, 2 full baths, living room, kitchen, dining area and wood burning stove. Lower level: 1 bdrm, 1 full bath, kitchenette, dining area, living room and wood burning fireplace. Large outdoor gas grill. Large outside fire pit with seating. Spectacular views of beautiful sunsets and wildlife. Great bluegill fishing. Pontoon boat (12 seater) with gas included. (4) Kayaks available for use. Netflix and wi-fi included.

Fun and Relaxing Lake Resort

So much to say! Very pretty and quiet setting. Lots of space and so much to do. Beyond well-stocked - have never been to a VRBO where literally all home comforts are supplied. If the opportunity presents itself again, we'll be staying here.

Exactly as described. Beautiful setting. Kids had a wonderful time. My lab did not want to leave! She had a blast. The kitchen was perfect for family cooking. I can't say enough good things about this lovely place.

Peaceful Getaway

Very clean home, well appointed kitchen, beautiful view of private lake, manicured yard perfect for bocce, cornhole and outdoor games, indoor and outdoor spaces to gather for meals and games. Pontoon boat and fire pit were a bonus. We traveled to the Michigan coast which was ~30 minutes away but spent the rest of the time enjoying time with family, beautiful sunsets and peaceful nights.

Relaxing family getaway on beautiful property.

My family and I stayed here for a short vacation. House is very well maintained and clean. Really enjoyed using the pontoon and kayaks on the private lake. Would recommend this property. Our only issue was that to get to the dock to the boat, we had to wade through about 6 to 8 inched of water, this was due to a large amount of rain in the previous days and my understanding is not the norm. This was not a problem for us, but could be an issue for someone with any mobility issues. Overall, a great place to stay.

Family vacation

This was perfect for our family vacation. It was peaceful and quiet with so many things to do. The house is big enough that everyone could have their own space. It was also stocked with everything we could possibly need. We just brought groceries and never had to leave. The pontoon was so much fun and having the kayaks was so enjoyable. This was our first family vacation in several years. Four adult children make schedules hard to coordinate. This was perfect!

Wonderful Family Getaway!

Our family of 7 adults and 1 dog had a wonderful long weekend getaway at the Hughes' home for the Fourth of July! The property is even more beautiful than the pictures show, and the Hughes were very response both prior to and during our stay. We loved the ease of using the pontoon boat every afternoon for a cruise around the lake and then coming back to cookout dinner on the large deck while watching the sunset over the lake. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything that we needed to make all of our meals at home for the entire weekend. The property is also within about 20-minutes' driving to anything you might need or enjoy - groceries, wineries, farmer's markets, and golfing. We certainly will be back!

The perfect vacation!

Pictures match reality perfectly!!! Huge yard. So much space inside, too. Kitchen full of necessary hardware. Additional private walk-out level with bedroom, shower/bathroom, table, mini-kitchen, and living area. Drank coffee in the mornings on the swing just outside the sliding doors. Quiet lake...went out every day and floated around the boat. Deck extends the entire back of the house and has multiple seating areas with views of the lake. Owners had great communication, making checking in and out a breeze. Looking forward to renting again.

Perfect and Peaceful - What an amazing location to have a family vacation (Ages from 65 thru under 1). The property is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful! I think our favorite two places were on the boat cruising around the beautiful lake and the side covered porch. We even anchored the boat and jumped in, the water was so refreshing! This house had everything we needed, we cooked all our meals here except one dinner when we drove to St. Joseph's. The Master bathroom is AMAZING. I was literally fighting with my daughter-in-law about who was going to use it first (lol). The Downstairs was perfect for our daughter, son-in-law and our under 1 grandson. They had the quiet and privacy they needed and had everything they needed down there.If I had to list one negative it would be the spare room beds weren't the most comfortable (they were okay). When I reached out to ask the owner a questions, he quickly responded.This place is a gem especially for a quiet family vacation or gathering! I traveled with my family and our little dog to this fantastic and remote location. (Be sure to use your GPS as you will be turning onto a gravel road to arrive at this house.) There were 5 adults and plenty of room to spread out, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the main level, and an additional bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The photos are accurate, but we all felt they didn’t fully capture the amount of space in this house! There is a living room on the main level, and a family room downstairs, which allowed for some privacy when needed. There is a covered sitting area outside, just off the kitchen, with a fan and tv! And the deck is huge-the whole length of the back of the house. It has a bar height table that seats 4, and a typical height patio table for 6. Did I mention the amount of space available at this house?!!! And the yard is also huge-perfect for our dog.Obviously, I can’t say enough good things about this home. We all enjoyed taking turns cooking or grilling, and only ventured out to dinner twice in the week we stayed there. If you’re interested in going out, know that you’ll be driving at least 15 minutes for limited options, or a bit further for more variety. We’ve already talked about coming back-we just have to figure out what dates to book!

My family enjoyed making wonderful memories this past week. Thank you for sharing your home with us and for your quick response when the refrigerator started leaking.My husband fell in love with the outdoor patio and its ceiling fan. Perfect family getaway home in a seclude lot and lake!

This is a beautiful home and property that is well maintained both inside and outside! The pictures that you see online is exactly what the house and property looks like, absolutely stunning! It was also immaculate!! This by far was the BEST house that we've rented from Vrbo. We thoroughly enjoyed taking the pontoon boat out on the lake. The only drawback is that there is not an easy way to get into the lake, other than from the boat. There's not a sandy "beach" area to walk out from. It also would have been nice if there was a set of twin beds in the lower level and/or if there was a pull out sofa bed. My two grandsons, 12 & 13, slept on a blow up mattress and a foam padding on the floor. Other than that, the house was wonderful!

Family Getaway

Our first family vacation with our daughter, 2 sons, 2 daughters in law, and 2 granddaughters. We had plenty of space for everyone indoors and outdoors. It was perfect for a laid back weekend. We wished the hot tub was working though (something I personally looked forward to). We found out that it only was used in the winter. The Wi-Fi was not working either but conversations were plenty! All in all , it was a great place for a family get together!

Beautiful lake house

My family and I had an amazing time at this lake house. It was in a beautiful and secluded spot, with a gorgeous view of the lake. We had a blast kayaking and swimming in the lake. At night we enjoyed watching the fireflies. The house was clean and very comfortable. I stayed here with 4 adults and one child. The host was very responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house and location are perfect!

This is a beautiful, well kept home on a very nice private lake. The property owner / manager are wonderful to work with and the ammenities that are available can't be beat. We had six adults and three dogs and there was more than enough space for all. I like to travel with my dog, and finding a place this nice, clean and well kept and is also pet friendly is a rare treat. This was our second stay here and we plan on returning every year.

Great getaway on a quiet lake!

We had a fantastic stay. The house was very clean, roomy and private. Great place for a friends or family getaway. Expansive decks to enjoy, large backyard for sports and a serene lake to enjoy. I highly recommend this place.

Fun Family Getaway

If you are looking to get away from a busy packed schedule, this is the place. Located in the country on a peaceful lake, you will have no trouble leaving the rush of day to day behind. We loved being able to bring the dog and having the pontoon was a huge bonus.

The rug in the front hallway needs replaced, it is a trip hazard. Tried to correct but didn’t work. I loved the covered porch area. Too bad it rained so much.

Great time with family

The house was very clean and comfortable on the inside. The outside deck and sliding glass doors were full of spider webs. I found wasp spray and got rid of wasp nest and spiders and swept the deck. The barbecue grill had foil with grease in it and was very dirty. Before making the reservation I emailed Teri and asked if there was a bathtub in any of the bathrooms because we needed one for my young grandchildren. She said there was a tub/shower combo. There is no bathtub in this home. I would think you would know if there was a bathtub in the house. I called Teri 2 times and did not get a response until a week after we had left. There is no place to get into the beautiful lake unless you take the boat out. You cannot walk into the lake, so the little ones could not play in the water. We had a great time with our family but next year we will look somewhere else.
