My stay was wonderful. The house has a deck and dock close to the beautiful lake. Also, there is a quiet, private yard perfect for reading. The house was clean, and had a nice beach decor.
We enjoyed our stay. The manager was quick to answer questions. The house had everything we needed. The view of the lake is wonderful. Really enjoyed the fenced in front yard. Very private.
My mom, sister, pup and I stayed here and it was the cutest property with all the correct things you could need. The owner/manager was really responsive and everything was true to the pictures. A cute relaxing little getaway I recommend.
This cottage is so cute on a family oriented lake! All the essentials are stocked and Hope is very accommodating. You get alot of options with the lakeside view as well as a yard to enjoy for privacy. The location is great, very quiet and peaceful.
We enjoyed our stay. It had everything that we needed and more. The cottage was right on the lake with a nice deck for morning coffee and afternoon reading. The host communicated and responded to us promptly! Would stay again.
I booked this small lake front property to spend the weekend with my two kids and to spend time with our family in the area. When we first arrived, we loved the place. What couldn’t we love? The view was beautiful and the house was clean. However, we quickly realized our relaxing weekend with family would be far from relaxing. The host, HOPE is absolutely awful! She is a micromanager and is watching your every move. She knew when we were swimming, sitting outside, when we left, and exactly how many people were in the house at all times. It made my family EXTREMELY uncomfortable. She sent me paragraphs about the amount of kids that were swimming. I told the host I can have my brothers pick their kids up and she told me it was fine. However, it clearly was NOT. She kept messaging me and was almost hostile. We left after 1 night because we felt and saw cameras watching us. I notified the host and she then is claiming I scratched her floor and her table which we never even ate at. Whatever you do, do NOT stay at this property - it’s just not worth it!

This review is a clear case of Libel and filled with false statements from a guest who broke the house rules multiple times and is now trying to tarnish my reputation as a host.
The guest booked for 1 adult and 2 children.
Day one: She checked in with 7 people. Her additional unregistered guests parked in the middle of the driveway blocking my neighbors garage, twice, even after being asked to use the assigned spaces.
Day Two: She decided to have a party with approximately 12 people in my 3 person max guest home. Once again, her guests parked in front of my neighbors garage blocking access. After being asked to move, they blocked my garage access.
This guest was told a total of 3 times, prior to check in, that the house and property were for registered guests only, and that parties were not allowed. She was told 3 times that the Manager was on-site. She was also told prior to check in that I was going to be staying in one of the houses next door for the weekend, so if she needed anything to let me know. Yet she still chose to break the rules with me 20 feet away.
My cameras are clearly visible and face the driveway and private road. They are also disclosed.
The guest checked out on her own. Upon check out, I found that her or her visitors damaged my dining room table and scratched up my entrance floor. There was also cheese pizza stuck to the carpet in at least 4 different areas.
It’s a good thing I communicated through the VRBO app so I have copies of our entire conversation confirming that her written statements are false.
