The ease and convenience and location of the property. We have stayed at this resort many times. Only minor comment is the smell of the bin chute on some days lingers in the corridor as you exit the lift.

Loved the stay. Great location. Parking underneath. Clean and everything you needed, nice size balcony with semi ocean view. Quality appliances. Unfortunately when it rains there is a very noisy drain that sits outside the bedroom which didn’t make for a good night’s sleep on the first night. Apart from that it was great!

Clean and comfortable in a great location

Calypso Plaza is a very attractive and well located resort. My unit 429 was spotless but tired, with well worn sheets and towels. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and no bathmat. The shower was old and the bath needed a rubber mat to avoid slipping as there were no rails to assist getting in or out. Unfortunately, before my stay the cafeteria and bar had been burgled so that service was unavailable. I had taken a taxi from the airport to the agency to pick up the key, and had not realised the distance in the heat that I had to walk to the accommodation. I was halfway there after walking up a long hill when I was assisted by a local who took my small carry-on bag and me to the Calypso. I am a healthy 76 year old woman (I believe most of the residents at the Calypso are of a similar age) but walking in the midday heat with luggage was almost too much for me. Fortunately I arranged with the agency to pick up the key at the end of my stay. With hindsight, I should have kept the taxi waiting to take me to the resort.

The minimum

The minimum welcome pack was just that. Dirty plates needed washing spoilt the initial impression. Liked the complex and accessability.
