Sunset Chalet welcomes you! Centrally located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear close to Bear Mountain Ski Resort and the Lake. It's also just a couple of minutes from shopping centers and restaurants. Close to National Forest hiking trails. This friendly town has so much to offer from lake activities during the summer or skiing and snowboarding during the winter season. Come stay today and relax on the spacious front porch and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the fresh mountain air.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 2200+ sq ft home with living room, TV, ceiling fans, dining table, bar seating, a beautiful custom rock wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Upstairs master bedroom has a king bed, smart TV, private bath, and deck. Downstairs second bedroom has a queen bed and deck. Upstairs third bedroom has a twin bed with trundle, futon, and smart TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, waffle maker, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Game room with a pool table, darts, and arcade game. Smart TVs and streaming apps along with fast WiFi, board games, and card games. Relax in the hot tub or near the cozy wood burning fireplace.

Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Sunset Chalet

Sunset Chalet was perfect for our family getaway. Lots of charm and character. The Hot Tub was the cherry on top! The game room was lots of fun but the arcade game didn't work so the kids didn't get to enjoy that. We did have an issue with the bbq the 1st night which was a bummer bc we had hungry kids and had to wait for someone to come replace the part. The only other thing that isn't ideal is we had to take our trash to a dump. Overall we had an amazing weekend and would stay there again in the future.

Charming house, some fixes needed

Very charming house overall, the backyard with the jacuzzi and the lights is cute. The pool table is in the garage, heated but not a lot. The electrical system in the house needs some fixes (lights not working in the bathroom, sockets not all working). The dishwasher and dryer not working either.
