About this property
Architect designed rustic modernist home 5 min walk to beach and cafe
Architect designed rustic modernist retreat, Twin Peaks cabin is in the heart of Roberts Creek. Built into the bedrock and surrounded by trees, this two bedroom cabin, built in 2021, offers an elevated respite on the Sunshine Coast. Amazing kitchen and gas BBQ for the gourmand, and plenty of deck space, a fire pit, and a sauna. A perfect place to get busy in the kitchen, or do nothing at all. At night subtle lights illuminate the beautifully designed landscape.
Two minutes walk to the Gumboot Cafe and Restaurant, General Store, and five minutes walk to the beach. Central, but private.
In cooler weather the heated floors in every room keep you and your feet warm and dry, and a wood burning stove adds extra warmth and atmosphere.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the cookware you’ll need, dishes, glasses etc. Ground and whole bean coffee from Straight Coffee Roasters (Wilson Creek) is provided for the drip or French press we have. Black tea is also provided. Cooking basics like olive oil, salt/pepper, and spices are in the cupboard.
We ask guests to be respectful of our neighbours. If you’re coming to party, it’s not a good fit.

Wonderful stay as always! Peaceful, restful and relaxing. Host is always accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or concerns that may come up. As always, we’ll be back to stay again very soon!
We’ve stayed with Sarah several times before and each time we’re always so pleased with our relaxing cozy stay. Everything is always just as expected at her home and we always find ourselves at the end of our visit wishing we could stay longer!
The property is better than we expected and the walking distance to the local cafes and beach/seashore was ideal! The house is very clean, comfortable, well equipped and offers a relaxing and quiet stay. The sauna was extremely nice in the evenings.
Can’t say enough great things about this home and the host. Comfortable, convenient, clean, and accessible. Can’t wait to stay here again in the near future.
This was a perfect place for rest and enjoyment. The decor, style and architecture were stunning. And the host was wonderfully responsive with any questions I had. Would recommend to family and friends.
Such a beautiful property! It was pouring rain all weekend which made this the most cozy getaway! Would absolutely stay here again!
Thanks so much to the host!

We really enjoyed our stay in Robert’s Creek. This is an amazing property with a great design. We enjoyed a wonderful final night out by the fire pit under the stars! (after a sauna of course ;) I would highly recommend this place.

We had such a lovely relaxing time here. We really didn’t want to leave! In fact in the middle of our stay we reached out to Sarah the owner, and we were able to book an extra night here on the fly. The property is lovely, the house is gorgeous and we just couldn’t have been happier with everything!
We’ve stayed at this property several times and always find ourselves coming back for the peace and quiet and for the comfort the property provides. The host is attentive to any and all needs and is always sure to make sure our stay is lovely every time. We will certainly be back to stay again before long.
This space is perfection. Simple, elegant, and thoughtful. I felt like I was living someone else’s (very tasteful) life. And that was exactly what I wanted for a special birthday weekend.
Sarah, the owner, was really responsive to all my inquiries before and during my stay. She happened to be overseas when I was there so there was lag time in some responses due to time differences. But that was not a big deal, especially when I realized what was going on (just explaining the 4 and not 5).
I don’t think I’ll ever forget my stay at this spectacular property. It has inspired me and I hope to go back soon.
It was an absolute joy staying here. Check in and check out was so easy. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was a great balance between privacy and seclusion but also being a short walk to the Gumboot cafe and restaurant (delicious food!), the general store, and also Cliff Gilker park with lovely trails and the waterfront. At night you get a lovely view of the stars. Though we didn't use them, the fire pit and sauna seemed easy to use and great additions. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return in the future!
