Nestled on a quiet road just minutes from downtown Union Pier, this newly built 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offers a perfect blend of comfort and privacy. Thoughtfully designed across two levels, it provides ample space for guests to relax. Enjoy the outdoors from the covered front porch or the screened-in patio, perfect for summer and fall stays. Whether you're a single family looking for a peaceful retreat or hoping to experience Harbor Country’s stunning sunsets, this home is an ideal getaway.

We kindly request that guests refrain from hosting large parties or family gatherings out of respect for the neighboring homeowners, many of whom reside here year-round. By fostering a sense of harmony and consideration, we can ensure that everyone enjoys a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

This property is well maintained and equipped for the comfort and convenience of our guests. Our vacation rentals include well-equipped kitchens, living and dining areas. Linens and towels are provided. Homes have washers and dryers, dishwashers, central heat and air conditioning, cable/satellite television, DVD players, high-speed Internet service, and outdoor gas or charcoal grills.

We ask that renters bring condiments, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, extra toilet paper, and convenience items like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and zip lock bags. We do not supply firewood for homes that have wood-fueled amenities like a fire pit or a wood-burning fireplace. We do not resupply anything during the stay. We provide two rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, 4 garbage bags, and hand soap in each bathroom -- so plan according to your needs.

Minimum Age Limit for Renters: The guest signing the rental agreement/contract must be 30 years of age or older (ID at check-in required) and must be responsible for the group during the entire time of the stay.

Maximum occupancy restrictions: The number of guests at any WAYA managed property can not exceed the maximum occupancy number (or sleeps number). This includes invited guests, friends, or additional family members. Events, parties, or family gatherings are not permitted without express written permission prior to booking.

This is a very nice property in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is walking distance but there is parking for about 15 cars if you choose to drive. The house was a perfect size for our family of 6.

We had the best time here. The house was beautiful and spacious. 10 min walk to the beach and town. The beach was absolutely gorgeous. Area was nice and quiet and woodsy. Our host was very pleasant and easy to get ahold of. I would stay here again!

Great Beach Vacation

Such a fun get away! This home is only a 4 block walk to the beach, equipped with everything down to grill lighters and playing cards. There is a great back yard, fire pit, and we loved it’s open floor plan layout. We brought our young children and never ran out of fun things to do around town. We highly recommend and will be back!

The house was so clean and very comfortable. The pullout couch was not very good, would recommend replacing the mattress. The smoke detectors went ooff the last day in late afternoon but the property manager and owner were very responsive. They went off for and hour when nothing was being cooked. We resolved the issue with the owner. This was our only issue. Loved the property and location.

Family wedding weekend

We were in town for a family wedding a couple of blocks away. Anchor Point is a beautiful property, exactly as described. Plenty of space for our 7 guests, very clean and well appointed with lots of thoughtful extra touches like plenty of board games, labeled switches, plenty of seating on patios. etc. It was our first trip to the Union Pier area but we found it to be a really appealing little town and we’ll definitely be back, likely to Anchor Point.

Fantastic getaway

We were two couples looking to get away from the city for a weekend. Location was perfect - it was an easy 1/2 mile walk to the beach (which, although eroded, was gorgeous and wild and incredible to walk down). It's a small house with everything you need - kitchen is well appointed with good quality pots and pans, fireplace is gas so it's provides warmth without the clean up of a wood fireplace, lots of games, and a firepit outdoors (which we didn't use because it rained for much of our stay but it looked inviting!). A bakery and general store are less than a five minute walk away and restaurants less than ten. Property manager was extremely prompt in answering the few questions that we had. We would definitely stay again.

Anchor Point Family Fun

The location of Anchor Point is very good. It's a pretty easy walk or bike ride to the beach, though we carried a lot of stuff- beach chairs, umbrella, drinks, towels, toys--making it a little cumbersome on bikes or pulling the wagon! The house is great for 5-6 people. The fold out couch in the loft is very uncomfortable, so I would not recommend anyone sleep there. Otherwise the beds were fine, the house was clean. There need to be washcloths, and more toilet paper available.

Anchor Point was an enjoyable experience. The interior of the home was clean, had many nice updates, and plenty of space for our large group. The location was ideal, as we were in close proximity to the dunes, and a number of nearby towns. We enjoyed visiting New Buffalo, but happy that our home was on the outskirts, as that town can get very busy. The nearby beach was an easy walk, had nice sand, less crowds, and was our favorite out of the several we visited. There was one minor issue with trash pickup, and when we contacted the rental company, the response time was immediate, and the problem was resolved quickly. Our only concern with the house, was that the exterior could use some extra care. It was a little disappointing when we first pulled up. Also, we had to do some cleaning in the sunroom, and the outsides of the screens needed sweeping, before we were able to enjoy the space. If not for those issues, we would have given the home an excellent rating.

Loved Union Pier - House needs deep cleaning

This was my first experience with VRBO so I was a little nervous. From the outside the house was cute, but the inside was very dirty! The trash cans were not emptied, the downstairs shower was not cleaned, the bedding had some blood stains and the kitchen drawers were filthy. I did not know what to expect so I brought my own cleaning supplies and bedding, which turned out to be a good thing, but when you are on vacation, the last thing you want to do is clean someone else's mess! The house needs a deep clean! I called the management company to complain and was told that there were issues with the cleaning people and that we could stay 2 hours longer on our last day --- that did not do very much for someone like me who was already grossed out by the dirt. The other issue that I had which was maybe due to my lack of VRBO experience and the need to ask questions, was that the pictures of the house showed a 2nd tv. I actually picked the house because it showed a second TV because my son was coming with us. It turned out that the TV was not functional - so it really should not be in a picture of the house! The location was not ideal mostly because they were putting in a new blacktop parking lot in the hotel behind the house - which was extremely noisy. You could still walk to the beach from the house - which we did and once I cleaned it - things were better. I am not sure I will do VRBO anymore vs. a hotel because I expect things to be clean!
