Enjoy the front deck views of Doe Lake, a short 2min walk to the Doe Lake Beach and boat launch (beach has volleyball nets, food truck, and playground for the kids). Complete with a private backyard for campfires, relaxing, and enjoying the northern air. Close to Arrowhead park, Algonquin park, and Huntsville. This 3 bedroom cottage has everything you need to have a great time with your family and friends. There is also a kayak and paddle board available for your use in the summer time. In the winter, there is an outdoor skating facility located near the General Store. Doe Lake freezes over when the weather permits, and many people enjoy ice fishing, sledding, or even cross country skiing along the lake. Close to snowmobile trails. Dog and family friendly.

Great short stay

The place came exatly as advertised and Megan was very responsive throughout. The place is quiet, nice, a close walk to the beach, and short drive to Huntsville. We had an amazing time and will be back.

Amazing cottage getaway

The cottage was perfect overlooking a beautiful lake surrounded by a tranquil environment. The host Megan was very responsive towards any questions I've had and made it a stress free experience for me and my group of friends. The residence was equipped with everything (apart from the limited paper towels) and my party enjoyed the tent in the back that had all sorts of activities to keep us entertained. The beach was a 5 min walk and the view of the lake was breathtaking. The commute to the general store was only a 5 min drive and it was supplied with everything. Even had a pizza restaurant for takeout which was delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone and definitely will rent again in the future

Family vacation

The property was beautiful and was well equipped for what we needed. The lake is clean, clear and shallow. A great place to spend time with the family and for us, Beach volleyball was a bit hit! The General store was close by and had everything you needed in case you forgot something 😊

Best rental experience!!!

The property was everything it was suppose to be and more...the cottage was beautiful...very clean and very well equipped...and to me the location is absolutely perfect!!!! The host was more then accomadating from the first email and helped in every was possible from the beginning...will definitely be back and definitely recommend to anyone we know!!!!! Thankful!!!!

Peaceful Getaway at Katrine

Beautiful fully equipped cottage minutes away from Doe lake. Plenty of space for a family to stretch out, inside and out, with a great fire pit and toys for the whole family to play with. Katrine is a bit secluded but that is what one looks for in a cottage, however, the general store has any needed provisions in case you have forgotten them.

This property has everything that you need, and fantastic hosts. It is in a very quiet area and is very clean. There is beach access around the corner, great if you have kids.
