This is the best place to stay if you're coming to Kerr Lake, especially if you're fishing. Tons of room for parking and the house is warm and comfortable. Five minutes to the Rudds Creek ramp, ten minutes to the Occoneechee State Park ramp. A quiet and safe place to stay.

Kerr fishing trip

Another great stay in the Boydton house. This place has been the best find for lodging in the area. While we love the cabins at OSP, this place gives us more room and more amenities (esp in the kitchen).

Kerr lake fishing trip

Another great stay in Boydton. This place is now our default accommodation. Lots of room, very nicely stocked and appointed. Its central location makes it the perfect base of operations for a trip to Kerr.

Adorable

The house was cute, had pretty much anything you needed, and was the perfect size. We have a family, so the kids loved the extra beds in the same bedroom, and we could have the main room. We sat on the porch to drink coffee and just enjoyed the peaceful setting. While in town, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!!

Boydton Retreat

Our experience was very nice. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Could have been a little cooler outside. We picked the 97 degree weather 😱. But great accommodations.

I stayed here for a fishing tournament. It has a carport that was nice for parking a boat under. Nice country style home and a short drive to the lake.

Had a great stay! The property was clean and just right for the boy's fishing trip. The weather was unfortunately not as great as the property was. Hope to try again with better weather!

Property is good, but wasn’t prepared for our stay. Third time staying here for fishing trips. Response was good, but very frustrating to show up to a dirty space.
