We had a great time. House is just like the photos. Plenty of room for our group of 7. We cooked breakfast each morning and walked to the beach. A few cute and fun restaurants really close by. No complaints. Thanks for the great stay!

The house is nice, however, there wasn’t any soap for the showers so we used liquid hand soap that was at the sink. The cookware was in horrible condition and not one sharp knife in the place. There was plenty of pillows, which I liked, and blankets.

The homeowner would like to clarify the following:- We don’t advertise providing shampoo, conditioner, or soap for bathing, though we do supply hand soap, toilet paper, laundry and dish soap, paper towels, bottled water, snacks, and a stocked coffee bar with fresh ground Starbucks coffee.- Most of the cookware is in good condition, but one sauté pan will be replaced, and we’ll sharpen or replace the knives as needed. There is also a sharpener in the utensil drawer for guest use.- We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay if anything is needed; we’re located just minutes away and happy to provide additional items or address concerns in real time.Thank you for sharing your thoughts, as they help us continue to improve the guest experience.

Wonderful Beach House

Lisa, our property manager, was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and fun things to do with the kids. She left flowers, cookies and dog treats! What a nice welcome. This beach house was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Though not fenced, there was a really nice front yard for the dogs.

Nice, clean, cozy and peaceful beach home!

This little beach bungalow was perfect for my wife and I along with our 2 teens and 2 of their friends. The Host Mrs. Lisa reached out before we arrived to welcome us with some helpful information regarding her home and was nice enough to let our kids use her beach boards and toys while we were out enjoying the water. Her home was cozy and the neighborhood was peaceful with friendly people all around. Great way to start the first weekend of summer. I Will definitely look for this place next time we can visit Surfside in the future. Thank you again Mrs. Lisa for letting us rent your place! My family and I definitely had a wonderful stay!

Great vacation house and close to the beach!

Very close to the beach and such a great location! The house is a little outdated if you care about that stuff but for the price it was well worth it with how close it was to the beach! (2 min walk). I can also say that the home owner went above and beyond as I told her we were coming down for my birthday and she surprised me with some sweet treats and decorations. Overall it was a great experience!

5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟We recently stayed at this amazing rental through Evolve, and it was perfect for our group—two families plus friends. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the house was well-stocked with thoughtful touches that made a big difference—especially the welcome snacks, which the kids loved!The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach and only about an hour from the Galveston Pleasure Pier, which made for a great day trip. We also appreciated being so close to a major grocery store, which made stocking up on essentials a breeze.Inside, the house was cool and comfortable thanks to excellent air conditioning (a must in the Texas heat!), and there were plenty of cozy spots to relax, both inside and out. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the included games and movies—plenty of entertainment for everyone.We had such a great time that we’re already planning to make this an annual tradition. Highly recommend this home for families or groups looking for a fun, easy, and relaxing getaway near the beach!

Perfect Beach Stay with Thoughtful Touches.We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! Everything was clean, well-organized, and clearly well maintained. Check-in and check-out were both incredibly easy, and communication was pleasant and prompt. There were even a few thoughtful extras that made our stay feel extra special.The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach entrance. Being on the second row was perfect, and you can even sit on the porch and enjoy the view.One small suggestion would be to include a quick reference guide for guests with information on local restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, and bait shops—it would be especially helpful for visitors who aren’t familiar with the area.For anyone planning to cook instead of eating out every day, I’d recommend stopping at a grocery store like HEB, Walmart, or Kroger on the way in (about 20 minutes out) to stock up. It definitely makes things easier so you can spend more time enjoying the beach!If you decide to go fishing or crabbing, be sure to stop by Hookers Bait Shop—they were incredibly helpful and kind and made a world of difference for our first crabbing experience. We even caught one! (We released it since it was too small.)We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Fun 4th of July

We took a long weekend trip down for the 4th of July. Location is excellent with easy beach access. Located next to pedestrian only beach, so beach was less crowded then vehicle access beach areas. Lisa was a great host!! Will definitely use next time we come to Surfside.
