A sweeping stairway takes you to the main level of this thoughtfully furnished beach retreat. The large, covered deck space is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee as you watch the sun rise over the Gulf. Ocean views and the soothing sound of the sea lull your senses as you relax into the comfortable outdoor seating.

When you’re not at the beach, you can enjoy a family movie on the large, flat screen TV with Blu-ray player or lounge comfortably with a book or indulge in a board game or puzzle. The restful and beautifully furnished living room shares a gas fireplace with the dining space that seats up to 6, and the bright and airy kitchen offers additional seating at the breakfast bar. Our well-equipped kitchen with brand-new stainless steel appliances has room for multiple cooks and one can easily access the covered deck from here. Panoramic window views of the Gulf greet you in every room of this shared living space.

A split bedroom floor plan allows for the utmost of privacy and relaxation in the evenings. The master bedroom is located just off of the living room and boasts a King-sized four-poster bed with swivel rocker, flat screen TV, a private bathroom and access to a screened porch. The spacious master bath has a vanity space, large walk-in closet, soaker bathtub and separate tiled shower. The screened porch overlooks the driveway and pool area, and is a great spot for an outdoor card game or meal or to watch the colors of the changing sky at sunset.

On the opposite end of the home is a private Queen bedroom with view of the pool area, hall bathroom with combination tub/shower and laundry room with front-loading, full size washer and dryer.

A ground level bonus room offers a studio layout or “mother-in-law suite” with an additional living space with TV and Bluray player and half bath. This area has a private entrance and ground level deck space, there is no interior stairwell connecting this room with the upstairs of the home. Sleeping accommodations include a King sized bed and Queen sleeper sofa. A convenient morning kitchen offers plenty of counter space, mini-fridge, microwave, double sink and standard coffee maker. The full bath is located just off of the kitchen space and is accessible from the pool area as well. This is a great room for teenagers who need their own space!

Enjoy your own private swimming pool with ample deck and lounge space and hot/cold outdoor shower. The pool deck area offers a propane grill, with an additional park-style charcoal grill at the entrance of the home. A fish cleaning table is available just outside of the pool deck.

Situated on a corner lot, beach access via a community beach boardwalk is just a short and easy stroll from the property. Our home is also located just across from the paved bike path, for easy access to the Island center. We are also located about 3 blocks from the public East Hole access to the Apalachicola Bay. This is a great place to walk the dogs and explore the bayside of the Island. Up to 2 dogs 50lbs or less are allowed with advance approval, for a $200 + tax pet fee.
