Nice Cabin with Issues
This cabin in beautiful and was perfect size for our group of 13 people. The layout is nice and there was plenty of room for everyone. When I booked this cabin, it stated several places that I would receive my arrival instructions 7 days prior to my arrival. When it was 2 days before the day we were supposed to leave and I still hadn’t heard anything, I got nervous and attempted to reach out to the host. I spent an entire day trying to get ahold of someone. I sent emails, I called, I left voicemails, I sent text messages and no responses. I finally called and sat on hold for several hours and reached a representative and got the arrival instructions. Once we arrived, the cabin was nice but we did notice some issues that we didn’t want to be responsible for. A screen busted out of one of the doors, etc. I sent an email stating these issues. They responded a few hours later saying a local representative would be in contact. We also had to wipe down all the counters and tables after we checked it. A local representative never reached out to me our entire stay. I really wish they would have so I could have then told them about the AC issue. We could not get the temperature in the cabin to go under 78 degrees. We ended up going to the Dollar General up the road and buying them out of fans. They said I should have called but I emailed and never heard back, I wasn’t about to call and sit on hold all day like I did just to get our arrival instructions.

Our stay
The dust was so thick on the shelves in the master bathroom. One of the children found a pill which turned out to be a blood thinner on the floor under the couch. This could have been very bad had one of the smaller children had found it. After contacting Julie with Grand Welcome about the air conditioning and the overflow of trash we were not happy with. They finally came out on Thursday to check the air and we were leaving the next morning. What was the point then?! The trash was never picked up even after Julie said it would be. Never picked up so we had no where to put all the trash. There is a lot more. Oh, the grill was filth disgusting. We had to burn off all the greasy mess before we could use it. I will send more later.

Spacious Cabin
The cabin had plenty of room! We had two families. There were 5 kids total. We all had our own bathrooms and space to relax. The cabin is beautiful and clean! It had all the kitchen amenities that we needed. IF I had to give a recommendation, curtains on for the windows downstairs would be great for the kids who stay down there. We will definitely stay here again!
