Everything about our stay was phenomenal! From the cozy cabin, to the huge screened in porch, this was the right place for my wife and I to refresh and recharge. Frankly, we can't wait to stay again!

Cabin in the woods
We had a great time in the cabin. Very clean, comfortable bed, fantastic claw foot tub to relax in. We saw bears almost every day just walking around the property. The cabin is close to Promised land state park which is so beautiful and has amazing hiking trails. We had a very relaxing stay in the cabin.
My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying in this cabin! The contact was responsive and helpful when we ran into a minor issue checking in. It was quickly resolved. We would definitely stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, three days/nights in mid-week. The cabin was exactly as pictured/described. The porch and bedroom fireplace were highlights of the trip. Peaceful, calm, and relaxing way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We will definitely be booking again
My husband and I were looking for a place
to go and do nothing all weekend and this was perfect. It was exactly as advertised and the owners were very quick to respond to our questions and were very helpful!
Went here with my wife for our Honeymoon and it was beyond perfect would rate 1 million if I could property owner was fantastic A-lots of things to do we will be rebooking in the summer
Amazing cabin in the mountains of PA. It is just what we were looking for: a spiritual couple of days to connect with ourselves and nature. Great host. Cannot recommend enough!
The cabin was very cute & exactly what I was expecting. Read the description, there is another house on the property that is close but the outside patio faces the forest & is peaceful & quiet. Great little hike to the stream.
My sister and I shared this little cabin in the woods. It was super cute, very clean, and well stocked. My sister likes bright lighting so she thought the lights were too dim. I thought it was fine. It was a great stay.
The property was immaculate the kitchen was adorable and we checked in we saw a huge stag in the yard. The wildlife keeps there distance. The bed was soft, the water was hot and making the fire was so much fun. Oh thank you to the manager who shipped my medicine bag after I left it’s saved my life!
Very peaceful, quiet, wonderful view of the outdoors. Got to see a young bear wandering through the woods as we sat on the screened in back porch. Perfect place just to relax reset. Watch a movie.
We loved our lil cabin tucked in the woods! Clean, easy, and well-stocked. We loved hanging on the back porch, taking the short hike down to the creek in the woods behind the cabin, and playing games by the fire. Very quiet and serene. A bunch of great hiking, kayaking, and other activities with a 45min driving distance (and some much closer than that). A great place for our romantic weekend away.
Quiet getaway for mine and my wife’s 10 year anniversary. Cabin was clean, quiet with adequate accommodations. If I had to nitpick about anything it would be the weak water pressure and no blinds on the front windows to give added privacy from
The other house on the property. Other than those two inconsequential things it was an absolute joy to stay there.
We loved our stay here. Enjoyed every minute of it. Hiked multiple trails: Shuman trail, wallenpaupak creek and lake trails. Rented a motor boat at promised land stated park and toured wallenpaupack lake. Mount airy casino was nice. Momma black bear and her two cubs stopped by to put on a show for us. The host was great. Would come back again.

Meh
Hearing road traffic at all times of day and night is not what I would call tranquil. Perhaps sitting on the porch with headphones would have helped. The inside of the cabin is what the photos represent but a picture sometimes does not show all.
The property would have been fine had it been secluded and at a distance from traveled roads.
It was challenging to figure out the heat and the wood stove…the coffee maker was also a mystery!
The cottage itself was charming and comfortable. Because of cold and rainy weather, I was not able to enjoy the screened porch which no doubt would have been terrific.
