Fantastic Narooma Stay

Beaut view of Montague Island and walking to beach and shops was so easy. Kitchen supplies were perfect for us to do home cooking. October stay was fantastic for whale watching on the patio!! Will come again!

Upon arrival we discovered a pile of unwashed dirty linen inside the front door. The bed in main bedroom was unmade and we had to find some bed linen and make up the bed ourselves. There were no clean towels available for use, only a couple of bathmats and handtowels. This is highly unsatisfactory. We advised the rental agents and a cleaner came by the next day to collect the pile of unwashed linen and leave some clean towels. In the interim the guest had to dry themselves that morning with a bath mat. We have never received an apology for this inconvenience and lack of attention.

Firstly, we apologise for the delay in following up on your correspondence regarding your brother Richard’s experience at 5/12 Ballingalla Street, Narooma. We sincerely apologise for the issue with the linen. The soiled linen was collected and replaced with clean linen as soon as we became aware of your email at the opening of business on Thursday morning. We contacted your brother Richard to obtain permission to access the property, which was carried out in his absence. Unfortunately, the staff member who called to arrange access was unaware of the circumstances at the time; otherwise, they would have also offered an apology for the inconvenience caused. Whale Coast Realty does provide an after-hours emergency contact number in each guest’s booking confirmation. It is unfortunate that Richard did not call this number upon arrival when he first noticed the issue, as we would have arranged for it to be attended to immediately. Please be assured that we take our pre-arrival inspections of holiday properties seriously, and this situation should not have occurred. We acknowledge that it did, and we again sincerely apologise for the oversight and inconvenience caused.
