Our courtyard cottage is ideally located just 1.5 miles south of Killarney town centre on the Muckross Road. We adjoin the Killarney National Park with direct access to the Lake shore and park trails. Restaurants, pubs and a small supermarket are only a few minutes walk away. Peacefully located on 30 acres of private grounds. The cottage has a view of the lakes to the front and parkland to the rear. Large rooms, modern kitchen private patio. Note, this cottage does not have level access. It may not be suitable for young children.

Wish we didn’t have to leave

First, Eileen… she was wonderful. Easy to talk to, accessible and understanding. So knowledgeable about the area. We had our car broken into in Dublin and then we had gotten a flat tire out in Portmagee right when we were supposed to come check in and she made us feel like everything would be ok. (And it was!) The property was amazing! We wish we could have stayed forever. So comfortable. So quiet. Close to everything (5 minute drive takes you to town) and yet you felt like you were all alone in the world. Across from Killarney National Park, you can walk right in. Beautiful views. The house had everything you could need. Hope to come back and bring family and friends.

Wonderful cottage with great location

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. The location was great, right next to the National Park entrance with easy access into town as well. The property was large and peaceful. Great view of the lakes. The host was very helpful with suggestions on restaurants and attractions. Everything she recommended was great. The cottage was well equipped for cooking as well. It was large and roomy. I would recommend as one of the best VRBO properties I have booked.

Gem of a place

We were so happy we picked this amazing place. The property is just beautiful. We loved being greeted by the horses and the donkey every morning. The location is perfect and convenient to the Ring or Kerry as well as County Cork and Dingle. The home is perfect and comfortable!

Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage

Die Ferienwohnung im Carriglea-House war genau so, wie beschrieben. Man hat viel Platz, der Wohn-Esszimmer-Bereich ist riesig. Die Küche ist groß und modern ausgestattet. Fernseher, free Wifi, alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Man hat Blick auf den See und nur wenige Meter zum Killarney Nationalpark. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, sodass wir uns rundherum wohlgefühlt haben.
