It was a very nice little cottage. The breakfast food, snack and wine was a nice touch. It is beside the owners house. Very nice if you should need anything. Not too far from the town. Had everything we needed
Charming country cottage in excellent location to feel removed from town yet close to Kerrville AND a good home base to visit other Hill Country sites. House was clean and had what we needed. Wonderful bonus items from charming host Randi were super sweet (wine and multiple food items in fridge). While messaging with VRBO "host" was a little slow, talking to on-site host Randi was great. Loved her and her precious, sweet German Shepherd. Great parking spot for our one vehicle. Spot may have been tight if we had two vehicles, depending on what you drive. Great value. Would stay here again for sure!

Thank you for the kind words. Very much appreciated. It's great to have delightful families such as yours come stay with us in Kerrville. Look forward to hosting you and your family again sometime.
The host was very accommodating and the home was nice and clean. We were surprised with breakfast items and wine. It was so quiet out there and peaceful. We enjoyed it very very much!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. Hosts were easily assessing and accommodating with any questions we had. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again.
Really enjoyed the stay. House was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. Hosts were nice when we talked to them. Area was wonderful. We love the country and being away from the crowds and this was nice. Microwave went out the last night we were there and we notified the host and they were apoplectic. Stove is a little old and large burner doesn’t seem to get as hot as it should but it worked.

Nice property close to town but quiet and peaceful. Great views and diverse wildlife. Highly recommend it!
We really enjoyed our stay! The host was very communicative and made sure we were taken care of. They provided so much and went way above and beyond. One of the best trips we have had. We will certainly be back!
If you want to explore Texas hill country, this is your place to stay. Close to all hill country has to offer. The cottage is clean and well supplied. Breakfast items, wine, cheese and fruit all provided. The hosts are the BEST. We will be back!!

Nice cottage
Good. The cottage feels like it is prepared and decorated with love. I especially liked the books and toys. There is even a toy kitchen! Would be great for a family with young children. The cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and we had everything we needed.Bird watching was great!
Stayed 4 nights. The cottage was very cozy, clean and well supplied. There wasn't anything we needed. The host had included some extra unexpected treats in the kitchen. The property is very peaceful with occasional deer coming out in the field. Would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed staying in this cozy cabin several days on our spring break. The cabin was cleaned and well stocked. The kids really enjoyed the small selection of toys and books in the living room. Our dog loved watching the wildlife and the peaceful walks up and down the long driveway in the mornings. Overall it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Cozy cabin
The cabin was easy to get to and full of wildlife. We were greeted by several deer and a fox when we drove through the gate onto the property. The host was gracious and left us items for breakfast along with other snack and dinner items and a choice of wines. The home was clean and spacious and perfect for 3 people. The bed was a little firm for my liking but overall it was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay there again!
My husband and I were pretty busy visiting with family and doing a little bit of sightseeing so we did not stay at the cottage very much, but whatever time we had there, it was very comfortable and relaxing. I enjoyed the swing just outside the porch on a couple of occasions.
We were also very appreciative of the special gift of food and beverages Randi left for us to enjoy.
Thank you so much for the special touches to make sure guest feel welcome and appreciated. We would definitely recommend this cottage.
We had a very enjoyable stay in our private pet friendly cottage in Kerrville, Texas. Our hosts, Larry & Randi, were so gracious and accommodating. They provided the fixings for a sausage and eggs breakfast, cereals, orange juice, fresh fruits, cheese and crackers, and two bottles of wine! We toured the Empty Cross Gardens in Kerrville which was very impressive. Thanks again for everything.
My Brother in Law and I stayed here for the Texas Hill Country Rally. Much cheaper than any hotel in town with great ammenites and the ability to chill away from the chaos after a long day of driving the back roads. The owner goes above and beyond leaving things they think you might need including wine and a charcuterie board fixing, things for breakfast including milk, fruit and juice. Better than a 4 star hotel and pushing 5 star service. For people who worry about your car when you see the gravel driveway in, DON'T. We had collector cars and came out without a scratch, the roads in Fredricksburg were rougher than the drive way. We plan to hopefully stay here again next year.

5 star
This was our first time staying at a cottage. Larry and Randy are absolutely fabulous host I can't say enough about them. The cottage was very clean, they thought of everything the fridge has breakfast eggs, sausage, biscuits, milk, juice. They also had two bottles of wine with glasses. We told them the grandkids were coming over they had games for the kids and brought even more over for us to use. We will be going back sometime in April and we can't wait to go back. The Fergusons
We were very very happy with our stay. While it was quite big enough for our family dynamic (we waited last minute to find something on a softball tournament weekend) the home was very accommodating from the pullout sofa to the air mattresses that were provided as well! The touch, that the ladies particularly loved, was the wine, fresh fruit, and meat/cheese platter the host's put out as a welcome gift. We also had a pet with us, that we later found out was not allowed at the fields, but the hosts graciously let us do a late checkout and even offered their dog run for out pet if we needed it on Sunday. Communication was top notch, overall hosting was GREAT!!! DEFINITELY DELIVERED AND EARNED 5 STARS!!!! THANK YOU!!

Everything you could need!
My daughter (f17), myself (f34) & my mother in law (f62) stayed in this cute, cottage. The hosts provided everything we needed and more! They were thoughtful enough to leave snacks, wine and fruit for the guests. There was plenty of towels and extra sheets. They even had a full kitchen which made it easy to cook dinner. We added a king sized air mattress to the living room, there was plenty of space! The parking spot was a nice area too. The host was very responsive & helpful. We will definitely recommend to others & book this cottage again if we go to Kerrville for another softball tournament.

Perfect location and Hosts
This was a perfect stay with lots of room and a very nice surprise when we entered wine and cheese and other goodies. Nice quiet location and lots of wildlife on the drive in but just minutes to town. The information packet is full of things to do and where to eat. Its dog friendly and our dog made a friend very quickly. Anything you could need was at hand plus a very peaceful sleep, no traffic or other noise. If you want to get away from the city this is the place.
Hosts are very quick to respond to any questions
But the best way to find out is to experience it yourself
There are no words to describe how beautiful this experience was for us as a small quiet family
We went to Fredericksburg and we had a short drive and no heavy traffic.
So, this will be one of our go to locations !
