Great Vacation Home

Wonderful home for multiple families. Every small appliance you need, comfortable beds, spacious garage! Lovely place to stay for skiing. Hope to return in the summer.

our stay was awesome! The house has plenty of space and was very well done. We wish there were trash bags and more toilet paper. The views off the back deck were beautiful. The driveway is plenty long to park 4 cars. Thanks for a great time!

Perfect Place to Stay in Crested Butte

Great house for a family trying to experience Crested Butte. Easy drive to town. Very clean and updated house. Playground for the kids a short walk down the street. Beautiful views of Mt Crested Butte and the stars at night.

Crested Butte Ski Trip

Property was just as listed. House was clean and well stocked. Plenty of space for all the kids to play and family to enjoy time together. Neighborhood was quiet and close to the ski slopes. Owners and local manager were great! So friendly and even checked on us during our stay.

The perfect ski house!

We just finished a great spring break at the lodge! Everything was great. The house was well stocked (the listing said we'd need to bring some supplies and it was all here) and the location was great. There was 12 of us and it was the perfect size. We are already talking about next year.

The house was nice and updated and an overall good location in crested butte. Our only issue was that it was really close to homes around it. We thought based on pictures there was more space between homes. A lot of new home building occurring and the homes very close to one another. It took away from the tranquility we were hoping for.

Beautiful views!

We had the best time at this property! Went with a large group of us, and the sleeping accommodations and living space was perfect for us. They had two great patios which had stunning views of the whole valley. It was a great location too, only took us ~5 minutes to get to town. We also loved the neighborhood and took a stroll on the bikes they provided for us. We will stay again!

Perfect Mountain Vaca

I HIGHLY recommend staying at the CB Getaway. It is a fantastic home and in a great location. The house is clean, open, modern, and everyone had plenty of room to groove. We vacationed over the summer. We loved hiking, jeeping, fishing, and star gazing at night. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Houses are nicely spread out. It is very close to the golf course and downtown. It is minutes away from the ski resort. We will be back!

House with a VIEW & everything you could need!

One of the best properties we have stayed at while with a group. The house had everything you needed - kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. Even had an air fryer! The highlight of the place is its unbelievable view from all directions - it was like being in a movie or tv show! After the afternoon storms would pass, we were treated with rainbows - a complete double rainbow! Convenient to downtown Crested Butte and several hikes. Plus, the beds were super comfy. Communication from the property owner and property manager were awesome! Thank you, for an incredible stay!

Birthday celebration

This 4 bedroom, 3 level home in a quiet residential neighborhood was just perfect for our family. Could of used a few more deck chairs to enjoy the beauty all around this house. Had a large table that seated our entire family between chairs and 1 bench. Will definately consider another visit for our family. (Oh, this house will sleep up to 14 people)

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

Our extended family of 11 stayed in the home a week in June. The home is just about perfect, gorgeous views in a quiet neighborhood, well-equipped kitchen, all appliances in working order. Just about a five minute ride to 'downtown' Crested Butte, five or ten minutes more to the ski resort area. Easy family hike just minutes away by car, a bike path from the neighborhood into downtown, a small neighborhood playground, really just a perfect setting. Highly recommended for a quiet family gathering. (Note there is absolutely no on-street parking, but four cars fit in the driveway, and two more can fit in the garage. We only had three cars so no concern at all, but do be aware of this constraint if it will be a problem.)

The Wedding House

We referred to the house as "The Wedding House". When searching for a VRBO about 6 months prior, my daughter (the bride), hoped to find a house that the entire wedding party could share in order to keep everyone together for all events including family gatherings, meals, and all activities that lead up to the big day. The multiple exterior decks provided ample space for games and for enjoying evening events including watching the stars......very relaxing. The interior was spacious allowing everyone a place to gather as well as providing privacy when needed. The large kitchen allowed plenty of space for preparing meals and a large dining area for all. This house surpassed all expectations and met our needs in every way.

I was told by the neighbors that although your festivities were lovely and pleasant to the neighborhood, there was a significantly large gathering at the house. Unfortunately we were charged extra for cleaning as well. That being said, I'm so happy the bridal party was able to be together and congratulations to the happy couple."

Amazing!

Our group of 9 moms thoroughly enjoyed a 4-day getaway to this beautiful, newly built mountain home with its breathtaking views, nearby hiking trails, cozy furnishings, spacious layout and modern amenities. The wraparound porch is enormous! The owners thought of everything for staying in to cook a big meal in the gorgeous kitchen. Otherwise it's just a few minutes to some outstanding restaurants and shops. Crested Butte ski resort is an easy few minutes up the hill. If we had brought the kids, the great room downstairs would have been the perfect place for them to hang out for their own movie night, and they could crash in the built-in bunk beds lining the back wall. Genius design idea! Everything was immaculately clean and in beautiful condition. We appreciated the attention to detail and will definitely be back.

Winter Ski trip

Great location only 15min to drive to Mt Crested Butte. Plenty of space for our group of 10. The house can also accommodate 6 cars. (2 in the garage and 4 on the driveway.) The house was nice and clean and beds were all comfortable. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook. Only thing it lacked was multiple kitchen towels. Making it challenging to clean up/ dry dishes. The bunk area (sleeps 6) is located in a common area at ground level. Which is also the only access into the house. So if people are coming and going there is not much privacy or quietness for those sleeping in that area.

Nice home but lacking in good service.

The house itself was very nice. Comfortable rooms ,good location, scenic views, stocked kitchen. Our biggest complaint was the service before our arrival. The grill was absolutely filthy and the propane tank was empty. We had to go into town to have it filled!! Totally unacceptable!. Plus we also had to purchase more toilet paper. When renting a VRBO you expect to have them supply the house with enough essentials to accommodate the number of people the site specifies it can handle, and not have the renters be forced to take time out of their visit to run to the store , or propane company to enjoy their stay.

We took accountability for it not being ready for you and reimbursed you for the propane tank and gas to get a new tank during your stay. Also, the grill was dusty on the outside, but as grilling goes, once your burn the grill and scrape them off, they're good as new! We will make sure housekeeping has the grill wiped down for the next guest. Thank you for your suggestion. As for the toilet paper, it is stated in the house rules and contract that we provide you enough to get started, but due to personal guest preferences and usage amount, it is impossible for us to have all the toilet paper you need at The CB Lodge. We hope you come again and we will be ready to exceed your numerous expectations!"

Awesome Service, Gorgeous Home with Beautiful Views for a Perfect Vacation!

The owner personally called me when I asked if there was a crockpot as well as the type of coffee maker. She made sure one was at the house when we arrived for our stay. The house is gorgeous. The mountain views were awesome! Lots of room for our large family. It was an easy close drive to the ski resort. We loved everything about it! Plan to stay there again!
