5/5 no notes! You will not regret staying at this cabin! It was so homey, spacious, and incredibly well-stocked. The views were awesome too. The hosts were so hospitable and warm! They answered any question we had and were very responsive. We’re already talking about booking our next stay here!

Great Cabin and Host

The cabin was new, clean, and in great shape. The location was quiet and had loads of solitude for a peaceful vacation. The host is so helpful and the communication was fast and fantastic. We definitely recommend staying.

Golden's Resort

The views from the house are beautiful. The house is clean and cozy. The hot tub is relaxing. There are plenty of trails and a community pond to catch and release fish. We had a wonderful stay.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Cabin was outfitted well to cook in and we enjoyed the porches and tabletop fire. Furniture was comfortable and cleaning crew left it picture perfect as we opened the door. Hopefully, we can return soon!

Peace of heaven!

So relaxing and peaceful. Enjoyed the area. Loved the fire pit, fire table on the screened in porch. Also, enjoyed s’mores by the fire. We enjoyed going to places in the area. Would recommend this cabin to friends and family. Would definitely go back myself.

New Years Weekend in Goldens Retreat Cabin

We were very pleased to be in Goldens Retreat Cabin. The Cabin is fantastic!! We spend a lovely time in the cabin for new years weekend. Only recommendation is to illuminate the path way of the road going up to the cabin, is very dark and dangerous.

We love Goldens’ Retreat! This was our third visit and won’t be our last! The cabin is perfect, stocked with everything you need to make you feel at home. The host is very accommodating. Plus you can’t beat the setting, wonderful views and peaceful quiet with a lake and plentiful trails for hiking.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was perfectly stocked and organized with labels on everything. That is super helpful when it comes to light switches, etc. There is no guessing. The hot tub was clean and HOT. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Our young daughter enjoyed the loft as her hangout space. The owners seemed to think of everything! We even enjoyed lunches outside on the little patio table. We definitely recommend this cabin in Murphy!

Golden's Retreat was beautiful and had everything we needed. My husband and I enjoyed our time relaxing and taking our dog on walks. The cabin is nearby Fields of the Wood and the Murphy Riverwalk. We had no problems in my Honda Civic. We are planning to return in the summer. Thank you.

Great Cabin

This is our second time staying at this cabin. The hosts are always amazing and very responsive. The cabin is new, well equipped, clean, and easy to find. You feel secluded but the access is an easy paved road to driveway. This is our go to place to slow down and unwind. The location is close to many sights and things to do in Western North Carolina and North Georgia. This cabin and hosts get our highest recommendation. Thanks for a great stay.

All you need

This cabin has beautiful furnishings, and a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the fireplace on the porch in the evenings. First time going through vrbo and was somewhat dissatisfied.

A wonderful rainy holiday

This may have been the cleanest property we've ever seen. The layout (with one bedroom upstairs and the second downstairs) was great for privacy, and the screened-in porch was the highlight of our stay. We spent at least half our time sitting out there, tossing balls for our dog, and watching it rain. I was able to get some work completed, and we rested. I'd love to return in the future!

The cabin was great, the driveway up to the cabin was crazy! Need to tell people about how steep it is! It’s advertised as pet friendly but there’s not a lot of grass or walking areas for dogs can get some exercise!

First off, the view is incredible especially from the top floor. Second would be the amenities in the household. Fully stocked kitchen, appliances, board games, etc. We really recommend this cabin. 10/10. We will be back.

Well stocked and comfortable.

All around great home. Kitchen well stocked, bedding and beds were very comfortable. Didn't get to enjoy the hot tub or 2 ouside fire pits but they were available. Pet friendly. The driveway leading to the house was a bit of a challenge due to the recent rain. Gorgeous view. House was decorated for Christmas which was an unexpected and nice surprise.
