Great house to entertain a large group, with plenty of activities inside and outside the house, and very smart packaging of bedrooms with each including its own bathroom and shower. Highly recommend!

Great property for a big group

We enjoyed our stay. We had a group of 15 extended family and it worked well - esp having bathrooms for each bedroom! The kitchen was well equipped and the billiard table and table tennis table were great.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay at Cowes Family Retreat, the property was perfect for our group of 5 families. Each bedroom was very generous in size as well as convenient with their own ensuite. There were many different communal areas for everyone also. Just a short walk to the beach and not far from the main shops. The property had everything we needed!

90th Birthday Celebration

Great house for our family group to celebrate my mums 90th birthday. Kids loved the outdoor spa and pool table and the short walk to have a swim and a coffee. We will be back.

House catered well for all ages.We found there were no spare toilet rolls in some of the bathrooms and we had to buy a packet to cover the shortage. Also a pair of men’s undies was found under a bed when it was moved slightly to put bottom sheet on. A child’s sock was also found wedged down the side of a mattress

While we enjoyed the property, I would not deal with this group again.Before we confirmed our stay, we received a harsh, almost threatening email about sound curfews that detailed fines if we were too loud. We weren't, that was never going to be a problem.When we left, we followed all guidelines as to how to clean and leave the property only to receive additional charges for the most minuscule details such as a tiny spill, a small handprint on a glass and a clean but half full dishwasher.They charged my card despite my explicit lack of permission to do so and us disputing the additional charges based on reasonable grounds, especially since we followed all guidelines to the letter.It's a shame that a nice weekend ended on such a bad note, but never have I experienced this on any other booking platform.
