We all enjoyed staying here. Loved the house. Enjoyed sitting out on the patio with our morning coffee looking at the lake. Really liked the location, being kind of remote and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. The property owner was so easy to work with.

Love the location in the quiet cove. Ideal setup for a big family traveling with kids because the sleeping quarters is upstairs, while the living/entertaining space and kitchen is centralized below that leads down to the lake. Plenty of outdoor covered space off the living room for spending time outdoors in the shade.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The house was awesome and the location was perfect. We loved how the house was setup, the yard was great, and the slide and dive ladder were a blast.. Main bedroom on the main floor, and all others on the second floor was perfect.

3 Generations Family Trip

This was exactly what we wanted: a great dock to swim off that was easily accessible from the house. Big tables inside and out where the whole family can eat together. Plenty of fridges and bathrooms. Great place to stay!

Perfect house with five bedrooms, beautiful views at the lake plenty of room for everybody nice kitchen. All the beds were comfortable covered back porch with plenty of room for everybody to sit. The dock was awesome. The high dive everybody enjoyed along with the kids and enjoying this big slide. Definitely something we will be trying to rent again.

We had a great time enjoying all the lake has to offer at this perfect location by land and water! The kids had a great time with all the water toys offered! We did have an issue with an injury sustained from the uneven walkway to the grilling area. Overall really enjoyed our stay!

Family get away

Location was great. We rented a boat and the property has a covered dock with an extra slip. We never really left the property except when we were on the boat, the water is really calm and we were swimming if we weren’t on the boat.

The house was clean and had plenty of room for our group of 10 adults. The location was great and being in a no wake zone/cove was ideal for swimming off the dock. We used the paddle board, Lilly pad, and kayaks. Overall a great place to stay!The house is out-dated but clean so we were just fine with it. My only small complaint was that they only provided 2 trash bags and very little toilet paper so we did have to go to the store for those things that we thought the house would provide plenty of. So I just suggest bringing your own toiletries and garbage bags.

Great Stay

We had a great stay. The house was as described. There were a lot of things to do right at the property. Shuffleboard was awesome. The water slide and diving platform were a hit for everyone. We got rained out for a day and half but there were plenty of board games and cards to keep us busy. We would highly recommend staying here if you want to be on the quieter side of the lake. We would stay again!

It needed some more lights working in the bedrooms and all the Kleenex boxes were down to only one or two tissues. We all thought your wall of games was cute and after our check in troubles really did enjoy our stay.

We stayed here with a large friend group. The house is older but was nice and clean. Our group enjoyed playing shuffleboard on the back patio. The only issue we encountered was a blown fuse while cooking breakfast. The breaker box was not in an area of the house guests can enter so we called the guest contact and a neighbor came over to reset the fuse. There aren’t a ton of options close for entertainment but our group enjoyed staying at the house instead of going out, so it was perfect for us.

The home is beautiful, well stocked, and perfect for a large family. They put the emphasis on fun and knocked it out of the park! We were able to bring our quadriplegic son with us and he enjoyed the trip immensely! He had to access the home through the back entry and stay in the bedroom in the lower portion of the house, but the kitchen and main living room are on that level so he was able to join in on the fun! We did have to do bed baths because he couldn't access the shower, and we were creative with washing his hair outside - but we have faced tougher challenges and this is the first time in 11 years that he was able to join us on a trip that didn't involve a hospital. Priceless! The owners were wonderful and very attentive, we look forward to staying here again. We are grateful to have found the jewel!

Vac #2 @ ottersway

We had a wonderful week again at this Ottersway. Property is well cared for. Pretty much anything you need to have fun on the lake is there. Our grandies luv the slide and kayaks. We luv this area of the lake as is quiet and water is calm and quiet for young kids to swim and kayak in. We hope to be able to come again but will depend on cost. Home is great, deer and nature just in the yard is awesome, and easy access to Laurie markets and eateries. Again, would highly recommend . 👍👍👍👍👍

Nice getaway

House was perfect for 15 of us- 5 separate families. The kids loved the dock, water slid and diving platform. All but 1 of the bedrooms are upstairs which was perfect. Lower level (kitchen/dining & large living room) was a place to hang out without waking up others in the house in the morning and night. 85% of our time was spent outside on the patio and deck, perfect amount of space for such a large group. Since we’d never been to the ozarks I didn’t realize this was considered the quiet side of the lake but we were able to find plenty of activities/restaurants within 20- 30 mins of the house.

Great location

Enjoyed the time with our family at this location. A few things that needed attention was the outside grill It was very dirty and there was old cooked food left on it. There was no broom for us to use to clean the deck with. The upstairs bathtub was slow draining. There was an old dishrag stuck in the kitchen garbage disposal. Others than those minor issues the house was great.

Wonderful, quiet, no wake area with great home/lake amenities

We loved our stay at this property! We have stayed at a family home and many rentals in past on the lake. Some were good and some were bad, but this home had it all for water focused fun. House was clean, updated in all the important areas, but with a touch of old school lake property I love and remember from the past. The Gravois Mills area was a lovely quiet area with a large no wake area for grankids to float/swim without fear. Dock had it all to entertain us with including swimming, fishing, slide, kayaking, paddle board and, lilly pad. Home had several areas to sit and relax to take in the view. The home was clean with a well equipped kitchen for cooking, and had lots of refrigerator/freezer space, storage, and washer/dryer. There were plenty of bedrooms sleeping areas/options. Home was easy to find and a short drive into Laurie for store, gas, and shopping. Lake Burger was a short jet ski ride away for a take out or eat in meal. Overall, this is an awesome property for your water focused vacation. We hope to be able to visit again.
