Stand alone 5bdrm in Mountain village core Ski In/Out lift 10, walk everywhere
Located in Mountain Village Core just steps to the Gondola- across the street from the Peaks hotel, and with ski access to lift 1/10 directly out your back door- one of the best locations in Telluride! At over 2500sqft it is extremely spacious, recently updated. Unbelievable views west of the “Coors mountains” with over 79 windows! Tranquil space with central location-rents like a house since there are no shared walls. Huge mezzanine/ open air loft, amazing lighting, and modern finishes. All new, comfortable beds and couches. This unit is perfect for 2 families to share and is perfectly located close to restaurants including the village table next door, next to the Telluride conference center and Madeline hotel. It is an easy 3 min walk to ski school/ base of lift 4. Four bedrooms plus a loft with queen bed, this stand along condo (no shared walls) has pride of ownership that will make you feel at home! Little added touches make it feel like home: Black out window treatments, jetted tubs, delonghi whole bean to cup coffee maker as well as keurig and drip coffee makers, quiet flush toilets, ski boot and glove dryer, original art of telluride landscapes and lovely hot fireplace. The condo is 3 stories total allowing for extreme privacy, the top 2 stories include 2 master bedrooms and has been exquisitely remodeled with a top of the line kitchen- exotic marble counter tops, sub zero fridge, and wall to wall windows over looking the mountains. Steel accents provide an overall modern feel. The top living space has vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, and a deck with grill. The upstairs dining table seats 8 plus 3 barstools, downstairs dining table seats 6. The 2 masters both have large, updated ensuite bathrooms. 1st oversized master has a new, luxury king bed, jetted tub, and large bay windows with Mountain Views. The 2nd master has 2 queen size beds. The loft is overlooking the living room and has a queen sized bed. This unit can lock off from the 1st level. The 1st level includes 2 bedrooms, recently remodeled bathroom, large living room with a wall of windows overlooking the mountains and large green space, eat in dining table and updated kitchenette. The 3rd bedroom has a king bed with TV, 4th twin/twin bunk and separate queen bed with television. Kitchenette includes a full sized fridge, stove top, convection oven/microwave and dishwasher. Includes a covered parking spot and washer/dryer. Additional parking is available across the street at the peaks hotel. Take a look at the aerial picture below to see your exact location, looking out at the Peaks hotel and just a short walk from the gondola. Prime location! Walk to all restaurants! You will not need a car! The ski access is just out your back door! Walk across the street and enjoy a massage at the Peaks spa, walk 2 minutes and enjoy a yoga class at the Madeline. When looking at ski in/ski out, remember only mountain village core area will be walking distance to restaurants as well. This is a limited number of condos, most of which share walls with other condos. Homes located along ski runs like bridges and galloping goose mean you will be driving! If you have never been to Telluride, the town of Telluride and Mountain Village are connected by a gondola that runs until midnight and later during festivals. Mountain Village hosts many restaurants, the Peaks and Madeline hotels, and the main lift, lift 4 home to ski school and childcare. Although this unit does not have a hot tub, the Unit is walking distance to The View, a restaurant that offers a free outdoor pool and hot tub for restaurant patrons! The Peaks hotel also offers day passes for the spa and pool for purchase if you so desire and is across the street from this unit. Otherwise, take a soak in the 2 oversized jetted tubs in the unit. If you stay in the town of Telluride, you typically take the Gondola to the base of lift 4 to start your ski day. If you stay anywhere in Mountain Village, there is a free Dial-a-ride service that will take you anywhere you want to go in mountain village (like the grocery store!). But if you stay in Mountain Village Core, you need only to walk. In the summer, mountain village is the place to be with access to hiking trails, fishing ponds, and host to summer outdoor movies and weekly outdoor concerts. This condo is perfectly located for summer festivities: a short walk to concert/movie venues but amazingly sheltered from the noise of you choose not to attend. Things I love: the view, the close proximity to restaurants, ski school and the gondola. Nice, comfortable updates, 2 living spaces for multiple families. Things to consider: the stairs can be limiting if you have mobility issues. There one parking spot included. Please be aware, like most places in telluride, there is no A/C. Nights are cool (usually 50s in the summer) and windows are located in secure locations to be left open overnight. * Please DO NOT book if you think you might cancel for any reason. Please purchase the insurance if you are concerned that you will need to cancel for any reason (including illness). TMV License # 005704
Please note- there is a nearby lot that may be starting construction in 2026. This could affect noise level. This is not confirmed as permitting is still in process.

Our group really enjoyed this condo. The location made it easy to walk to the core of Mountain Village, take advantage of ski in/out and even take in a spa day at the Peaks resort (60 per day). For guys in their late 50's, the number of stairs was not an issue, but if you are not in shape, it could be a lot. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to make breakfast, lunches and snacks (we ate out all dinners). We did have an issue at check-in with the cleaning company, but our host gave us a heads up, we were able to store our luggage, the condo was available at 6:30 pm and the host compensated us for our lost time...all was good. The beds were soft, the bathrooms clean and the living rooms were perfect for hanging out. We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay with children and grandchildren. The location allows easy access to the gondola which means everything is walkable. Note there are several sets of stairs if you have small children.
We stayed in this unit with 9 people for the Telluride Film Festival. Great space, layout for a large group to spread out so we weren’t on top of one another. Comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Would strongly recommend.
This was the best best home we have rented for our family of 11 in the 4 straight years we have visited Telluride Mountain. We have stayed direct slopeside, but this was better. Easy 2 to 3 minute walk to lift 5 in the heart of the village. Well designed and appointed. We are getting ready to confirm our 2026 vacation at this home. Homeowner is very communicative, and pleasant.
Overall our experience was a positive one. The location was ideal and the bedroom layout suited our needs. However the heating and cooling system seemed to need some attention and the cleanliness of the unit should be re-evaluated. The owners were a delight to deal with.

The boiler system was just replaced this season and I think there was a kink in the system while you were there. All fixed now.
Spacious condo in a great location. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms were clean, but rugs and furniture were not very clean. Overall, we had a very nice stay with an easy and seamless check in process. Easy garage parking for one vehicle. Plenty to do around Mountain Village and Telluride town for a large span of age ranges.
We utilized this place as a home base for Telluride’s 50th annual bluegrass festival. It was the perfect place for the 13 of us to spread out and get rested up to attend the festival for all 4 days. Great location, amazing kitchen and ample bath space. Easy to get back and forth to town for an afternoon rest then back to the Festival for night time fun. Our host was responsive and our experience was extraordinary!
Thank you for the amazing week!
We loved the condo…beautiful and stylish…all beds very comfy…sleeping in loft bed was perfectly fine..beautiful views and well equipped
Guests need to be aware steps are are a lot..especially when carrying luggage and skis..but it is manageable
This condo fit our family of 12 nicely. The location was great, and the ski conditions were awesome. We were disappointed that the home wasn't fully cleaned when we arrived and had to therefore change the sheets in the bunk room ourselves. There were dirty pots put away in the kitchen as well. Other than that, the accommodations made for a great ski week. It was nice to have 2 separate TV rooms to allow for adults and kids to all enjoy and relax.

I have no idea what happened that the place wasn’t clean but you absolutely should have called the management company pronto! Totally unacceptable

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Need More Info
I was not happy that the limited parking availability, and the multiple flights of stairs (no elevator) were not disclosed prior to a non-refundable deposit being taken. Seems like this should be disclosed ahead of time.

I’m sorry you didn’t feel like the information was provided. I assure you both topics are clearly defined in the Vrbo listing. As I know mobility can be an issue in some travelers, I try to point out several times that the unit is multilevel and not for disabled persons or those with trouble climbing stairs. There is just so much information provided, I’m struggling with how to make it more apparent. Thank you for this review which will hopefully serve as another message to renters that have difficulty climbing stairs that this is not the place for them!

A gem in Mountain Village.
Probably the most elaborately decorated and comfortably furnished condo we have ever stayed in during all our decades of skiing. Well appointed kitchen was spacious for cooking and the deck grill came in very handy. Beds were comfortable with great linens. The jetted tubs in both the full bathrooms were a luxury after a hard day of skiing and the "quiet flush" toilets kept us from waking each other up at night. Three levels in this condo gave an extra measure of privacy for a family vacation. The extremely short walk to Mountain Village made it an excellent location for dropping off the grandkids at ski school, picking up our skis and poles at the reasonably-priced ($7 per day) ski valet, and starting our day. Also nice to have a heated garage for unpacking/packing the car.

Thanks Michael! We are quite proud of it. You are welcome back any time!
Really enjoyed our stay in this Mountain Village condo (actually 2 condos stacked vertically). Terrific location - on the edge of the village center, just past the fishing pond. So it was quiet at night but everything was easily walkable without having to worry about our kids crossing roads. The multi-level nature of the place meant good separation for the master (top level) from many of the other bedrooms (1 on loft between 2nd and 3rd floors, 1 on 2nd floor, and 2 on bottom), so everyone enjoyed some privacy. Since it was initially designed as 2 condos, having 2 living rooms meant TVs and reading spaces were plentiful. It also allowed for a separate mini-kitchen area for the downstairs bedrooms where our teens stayed, so they could access their own fridge. It was well-stocked with kitchen supplies, enough that we prepared a couple of family dinners with no problem. And blackout curtains / shades allowed us to sleep in on the couple of mornings when we weren't getting up early for a hike. I will mention that there are a lot of stairs, both to get to the unit(s) and inside the place. So if someone in your party has mobility issues, that should be a real consideration. However, it didn't bother our family, and again created some nice separation for parents. As for the reviews that mentioned the garbage collection, we did hear trucks occasionally in the mornings, but it was short-lived and not disruptive. Definitely recommend, and we would be very happy to rent again.

GREAT & comfortable home with outstanding views !
We had only one “snag” occur in that the door between the upstairs and downstairs units had been LOCKED - and we had to wait about two hours to get the property manager over there to unlock our access - causing us to have to walk on the outside stairs to access our checking in process -
The kitchen was well equipped ( could use a couple of extra pots ) - but plenty of frying pans and baking sheets & utensils - I loved feeling like I was at “ home” rather that in the hotel like environment— we had plenty of room to spread out
The downstairs living room was a great place for the two year old to play and allow some time to split up the crowd to avoid that “group therapy overload”
The access to the slopes was great - the snow base was a little less than needed to be able to “ski out”, but only a 5 minute walk to lift 4 - and we were allowed to leave our ski equipment right in the Christy Sports shop each evening which was AWESOME- not having to walk in those ski boots too far —
Everyone in our group said it was a 10 !! And we would gladly stay there again — being on three levels, there was a lot of stair work throughout the week, but it was totally fine with all of us - I actually dropped a couple of pounds on this vacation !!
Thanks for a great “home away from home” vacation spot !!

Thanks for the review! The location is the best thing about this unit! I searched high and low for a place right in the middle of everything but still quiet and with great views. I fell in love with this place immediately! Glad others can enjoy our little oasis as well.
