The advantages:The cottage is located really close to the entrance of Sandbanks National Park. I would not recommend the walk if you have little ones and many things to carry. We loved the location of the cottage, the big parking space, the pizza across the street is yummy. Also, the view by the kitchen is gorgeous window and the place is well equipped. The host replies very quickly.Drawbaks: I removed some points because there were several earwigs (in the shower, closet and even the bed), one of the bed covers and sheets smelled awfully like sweat (thankfully there were extras in the closet). The mural A/C works, keeps the air cool, but it is very noisy and moldy. The A/C was too noisy that we had to switch it off to be able to sleep at night.

The cottage was bright and clean. But definitely NOT a 15 minute walk to beach. Across the street a great pizza place and mini putt.

There are 2 entrance ways to the beach. The closest one to us is 15 min. I'm sorry I didn't make it more clear in the listing. There is an entrance right beside the mini putt and it's no more than a 15 min walk

Perfect PEC getaway

We loved our stay at the Dunes Cottage. We were looking to stay close to Sandbanks, and you couldn't ask for a better spot. We were there mid-week, and it was a very quiet place to stay. Tara is a very responsive host, and the cottage was perfect for our family of three. It was a short drive into both Bloomfield and Wellington for some great lunches and dinners.

Thought of every last detail

We had such a lovely stay at the Dunes Cottage. We were able to walk to Sandbanks Beach, play mini-golf across the road and pick up the freshest fruits and vegetables just down the road. Tara thought of every last detail to make us feel welcome and to ensure our stay felt like home. The cottage is decorated so beautifully and we really appreciated all the thoughtful touches and the responsiveness of the host!

We stayed there with my family for a fews days it was just amazing. This little house, so we’ll decorated with everything you need for even for kids is just amazing. It’s just so quiet so peaceful, close to all the beaches. You can’t go wrong with this. We’ll be back :) Thank you for everything

We had a great stay at this vacation cottage. It's perfect for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children), nicely renovated and decorated. Even better than the pictures! There's enough space for all of us, nice views in the backyards and perfectly located near the beaches and close to Picton. The air conditioning was perfect for summer weather! The host provides good communication and is very responsive. Only minor thing to improve: dinning area outside is not very inviting, the furniture is dirty. The outside terrace could benefit from some improvements.

Toutefois, cet environnement contribue finalement à une agréable tranquillité.
