Well equipped Kitchen includes all New appliances , Induction Stove , Dishes , Pots , Pans , Ice Maker , Cutlery and Sets of Knives. Coffee drinkers will appreciate the choice of Kuerig Supreme , Nespresso , or the Tim Hortons drip system , including Complimentary Coffee for all the machines.

Super well equipped home with many luxury amenities in a terrific location near golf, skiing, and hot springs. Within short driving distance of shops, restaurants, and groceries. Beautiful view & spacious house. the house is within a nice neighborhood and there's plenty of activities to do. The host provides abundance of supplies. Easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place.

60th Birthday Celebration

There were 8 of us, varying in age from 15 to 75. We all enjoyed the large property. We could all gather for group activities and if we wanted “alone time” we each had a large, well decorated and comfortable room to go to for seclusion. Thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. The home was very well stocked with household necessities. Very close, walking distance to many amenities. The floor wasn’t vacuumed well in the kitchen, and there were sticky patches on the floor by the stove and sink. Some of the cutlery was not clean from the dishwasher. Other than that, there are no complaints.

Fairmont Gateway

We stayed 4 nights for New Year’s. This was our second time at this gorgeous property. The house is very spacious and clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything we need for our group. Dan and Holly are great hosts. Highly recommend.

Family vacation

Another fantastic stay in Fairmont! Second year in a row at this home, such a good fit for our family. Lots of room to spread out so all the little ones get the rest they need and lots of space to play.

Awesome Home and Hosts

Beautiful home, very spacious - 6 guys each with a room to themselves plus plenty of space to be together as a group or find a quiet spot on the deck. Very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked, in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely, hospitable, helpful and very responsive hosts.

Amazing VRBO property

Our stay in Fairmont was amazing and we’re so happy we were able stay at this property! The house was clean, housed our large group, and was conveniently 5 mins from the ski hill and hot springs! We hope to be back next year!

Great place for larger groups

Great property with many bedrooms and beds. It was a perfect spot for our extended family get together. Cozy and welcoming. Dan and Holly were great hosts with excellent communication. They literally share their house with you…. no locked cabinets or closets. Many pantry staples were available to use which was fantastic. Very close to Fairmont Hot Springs resort and ski hill.

Fantastic home for large group

The home was beautiful, large and perfect for our group.. and the hosts were friendly, helpful and always reachable. The kids loved the room with the 6 beds and the Pacman machine. All kitchenwares were available: lots of coffee options, utensils, pots/pans, air fryer, griddle.. whatever you need they have it. Great location and very close to Fairmont resort and 10mins to ski area. Highly recommend!!!

Family vacation

There were 7 adults and 4 children ages 7, 4, 4, and 2. They absolutely loved the family sleeping room located above the garage. There were LOTS of beds, plenty of towels and other necessities (like cooking and serving utensils), and loads of room for everyone to be able to relax and even get away from each other for awhile when necessary. The owners were very welcoming and quickly responded to emails. Thank you for sharing your home.

Home away from home

8, 65 plus gentlemen enjoying their 33 annual golf get together. The property was perfect for our stay. Lots of bedrooms and extra beds. Kitchen had every conceivable utensil along with a generous supply of coffee, tea, assorted condiments. Dan and Holly were excellent to deal with and we wouldn't hesitate booking the property for future trips to the Fairmont area. Top notch all the way.

New Year’s Gateway

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at this charming home in Fairmont Hot Springs. The house was very welcoming and exactly as described in the listing. There’s plenty of beds, so everyone slept comfortably, lots of sitting areas. The kitchen was very well equipped with all we need. Check-in and out were well explained and didn’t ask us to do much. We couldn’t had have a better experience. We highly recommend this home! Thank you for a great stay Dan & Holly!

Very nice house with lots of room

It was very easy to deal with Dan. He was very helpful from our booking date to end of our stay. The house has lots of room. We enjoyed the wood stove, which warms up very quickly. Three TVs had plenty of channels so we could watch the World Cup games. We recommend this property to other guests, especially bigger groups.

Incredible!!

I can’t say enough about this property! It was clean, comfortable. The kitchen is so well equipped. It really felt like we were being hosted by a family, not just staying in a poorly equipped rental property. The amount of beds was MORE than ideal for our 14 person party. The proximity to Fairmont hot springs and ski hill was great, and we took the 2.2km hike that’s basically just out the front door! The hosts were amazing even before check in answering my questions about the valley area and stuff to do. Highly recommend!

Dan and Holly, Thank you so much for sharing your vacation property with us. From our very first interaction with you when we inquired about details, all the way through our stay, your communication was amazing, and as advertised, you had everything we were looking for. Our group had three families with 6 adults, and 7 kids between age 6 - 14. There was more than enough room on each floor, the studio was perfect to group the kids together, especially with the Pac-Man arcade machine, and the basement was perfect for the teens with the air hockey table. With so many TVs the kids were able to hook up devices like Nintendo and Xbox. For the adults, the front porch was a huge hit in morning and evenings, we loved the Adirondack chairs overlooking the deck. The ladies loved the coffee bar, and you had absolutely every amenity required in the kitchen (air fryer, Insta pot, ninja blender) and a stocked pantry. Our group could not have asked for more. An absolutely ideal location next to the hot springs, many golf courses including a very friendly Creek River that allowed kids to play, and hiking trails. Thank you for opening your home to us, we hope to be back in the future!

Amazing vacation!

Hard to summarize how much we enjoyed our stay at Mountainside Retreat! Communication with the hosts was excellent from beginning to end! The home was beautiful and very clean! We especially loved the kids loft/studio area that came with its own mini fridge, fireplace, large flat-screen TV and Pac Man game! The master bedroom was huge, with a deep soaker tub in the ensuite! The games room with air hockey table and another large TV was a great place for the kids! The 2 living rooms & 2 dining areas on the main floor provided so much space to do so many things! Not to mention the coziness that the wood burning stove provided (along with a ton of pre-chopped firewood)! The owners thought of everything, providing so many little things we ourselves had forgotten to pack, but came in so handy! There were tons of towels, even large beach/hotsprings ones! There were 3 different kinds of coffee makers (drip, Keurig & espresso machine) and even the pucks were included! There was every kind of cooking gadget needed, even an air fryer, crockpot, griddle, etc! Every cupboard or closet we opened had something useful in it! The FOUR bathrooms was such a bonus, as there were 14 of us, and no one ever had to wait to use one! Best of all was the location! 2 mins to the grocery store, 5 mins to the hotsprings, 10 mins to the ski hill, and beautiful walks in a forested area right out our front door!! We can hardly wait to come back to this place... maybe next time in the summer so we can take advantage of the large veranda on the front with beautiful views, and the back patio/BBQ area! Had 10 guys out on an annual golf trip in the area. I always switch up the house until finding the perfect spot. This one could be it! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is much larger and so comfortable! Dan was incredible to deal with and made the stay even better because of it. I would recommend this spot to all!!

Great well stocked home for large groups

The home had more than enough space for all in our family. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean and in good working order. Would love to stay again and would recommend to other large groups as well.
