Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The house is spacious, comfortable, well stocked, and the management team was very accommodating in allowing us an early check-in time. Also, it is a beautiful area of the state to enjoy anytime of the year!There were a few housekeeping and maintenance issues that kept our stay from being a 10-star experience. The screen porch was quite dusty with cobwebs and pollen so we had to clean the furniture before using it. The washer contained musty smelling sheets and did not seem to work properly. One bathroom had a toilet seat that was too small for the toilet and the back bedrooms were stuffy without air conditioning or window fans.These are fixable issues, and with a little more attention to cleaning and maintenance, this would easily be a five-star property. While you’re in the area, we highly recommend The Pie Hole for pizza and the Modern Barn for an excellent meal!

Beautiful house

My family and I enjoyed this beautiful house very much Big windows and space for everyone! Check in was quick , we did not had the need to contact any management at all! Looking forward to stay here again .

Clean, modern, very well appointed ski house with charm.Less than a 10 min drive to base area - less than 5 minutes to Matterhorn ski bar Few arrival questions/ issues resolved promptly with an immediate return phone call and trouble shooting..Highly recommended!!

Family Getaway

I loved this property. It was my family's first visit to this area of Maine. We loved it. The property was very nice. Enough room for our gang of 11 to have their own space. The property was well equipped and clean. We hope to be back.

Too bad it’s not for sale

Everything you would want or need in a property made for ski country. Little to be desired, the house is perfect. Convenient location, quiet, and all the immunities you would need. Clean and cozy environment. There’s not much else I can say, just a wonderful spot.

January Long Weekend

My family had a wonderful long weekend vacation at The Timbers! The bedrooms for a family of 9 were perfect. The extra family room on the basement floor was great for the boys:22, 17 and 10. The adults enjoyed the gas fireplace and ample seating on the main living floor. There is ample seating around the ‘sleigh’ table for meals. Matt communicated quickly with any concerns that I had. A five minutes ride to Sunday River was really nice, and we were in the lift line by 7:45 on a busy Saturday. We had a lovely walk at a nearby park along the Androscoggin on Sunday. Everyone enjoyed it!!
