We want to come back!

Beautiful, cozy, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed - even a pet crate, firewood, and games. Great location. It all made for an absolutely memorable Christmas for our family! Excellent service and communication. Would definitely book again!

Great stay

Wonderful cabin in quiet neighborhood. The four stars for check-in is only because a storm delayed our check-in, and we were stranded for two hours with no place to be. Feel like they need a contingency plan for this situation (which is not uncommon in the mountains) that felt a little more organized and pro-active. For instance, contacting us head of time so we could have prepared. This is not the fault of the property itself and the management staff was courteous as they tried to handle our situation.

Stay over NYE

Property was as advertised, however, the house was not turned over after the last group had stayed at the house when we arrived at 8:30pm. We had to place a couple calls and texts to the management group and a cleaning crew arrived around 10:30pm and left around 11:30pm. It was not the best start as we were tired and wanted to get settled in, shower, and sleep. As well, in the welcome emails, the check in hours with the office were incorrectly listed as open until 11pm. We received a call en route and were notified the office was only open until 9pm. Fortunately, this did not impact us, but we felt this should have been updated as future guests almost certainly will plan around those hours. The property itself was fine and once the kinks had been ironed out, we had a nice time. The hot tub was great. The beds were just ok.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the check-in process and the oversight in communication about office hours. We understand how important a smooth arrival is, and we're sorry for any disruption to your plans. We appreciate your understanding and are glad to hear that, once resolved, you had a nice time at the property, enjoying the hot tub. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our processes for a better experience in the future. Thank you for staying with us at Big Bear Vacations.

While the location is great the property is not well maintained.

The kitchen faucet does not turn off, the bath2 faucet sprays outside of the tub/shower. The master shower faucet is dirty. The kitchen sink was filthy I had to clean before I used it. The glasses in the kitchen cabinet were some dirty and others stuck to the cabinet and when I lifted them up the paint was stuck to the glasses. There was no wood for the fireplace easily accessible even though they had a wood rack on the side of the house. We had to dig under the front stairs. We really wanted a TV in the master suite and the one there did not work. Very dissappointed, for a very high price we paid. I have pictures if the owner is interested.
