This is a nice little cabin with plenty of room for 3 big guys. Very clean with a nice campfire area out back. Plenty of hot water and the AC works like a charm. NO BEACH ACCESS!! That’s the only downside. Other than that everything about the cabin is great.
This is a very lovely place. It was the right size for the four of us. We didn't spend a lot of time there as there were plenty to do even though the smoke from the fires were pretty intense for a couple of days. We had a great time playing games at the table and it was just a lovely place to stay. It is well kept and clean. If we come back this way, we would hope to stay there again. It was in the middle of all the places to see and do.
Cabin was great for what we needed. Family of 4(kids 11&13). Only downside was there was a smell in the cabin- especially the master bedroom. We bought air freshener and called it good. There is beach access but kinda awkward to get to. We called the host who gave us directions to access it. The kids played there all afternoon. Perfect location between Oscoda & Tawas. Master bedroom mattress is a sleep number which was not for us. Did not get a great night of sleep.

Oscoda cabin stay
We thoroughly enjoyed the space in the cabin. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, everything seemed new! Great location between Oscoda and Tawas, beautiful beaches and parks. Lake access for the cabin involved crossing 23, which was a little difficult but doable.
Very comfortable and cute place to stay. While the lake is right across the street(not public), you'll here the waves at night. There are many nearby beaches and parks close by. Local grocery store has a great meat and produce selection for using the grill. Loved our little getaway!
My best friend, and I could not have been happier with her stay. It was absolutely decorated adorably. Super clean highly recommended and we will make it a yearly tradition for a girls weekend.
Would definitely stay here again - we inadvertently booked the second cabin in two different years without even realizing it. It’s a nice clean place to stay that’s close to both tawas and Oscoda. Owners are reasonable and communicate quickly. Price is right. Bunk beds are a little dicey- top one needs slats. Comfy couches and nice sleep number bed. Pillows are a little balloon like (maybe being your own)
Overall our experience was great! It was the perfect size for us and our two kids (13, 9) since we were only staying a few days. Upon arriving, the cabin was very clean. The AC remote took some getting used to, but figured it out and things cooled off pretty quick. One thing we noticed quick is there is no storage for clothes, so we all lived out of our suitcases for 3 days. That's the biggest gripe we have though and we made it work by using the front room to setup suitcases. Staying any longer though this would be a real issue for us.It was great they had a Roku TV so we could connect to our own stuff while there. They also gave us plenty of towels and washcloths to use! The kitchen was clean and had plenty of cookware and dishes for our needs.A couple suggestions during clean out would be to check around the beds as our son found a used sock that wasn't ours, under the pillows between the bed and the wall and also to check the grill. The ash catcher underneath and the grill itself were completely filled with ash so I had to clean it all out to use it. It would also be good to be more clear about where the beach access is. We know the area so driving into Oscoda wasn't a big deal, but it's misleading in the advertising and doesn't mention having to drive town for public access.Again, overall our stay was great, the location is good, and we liked the place so comments above are minor to us and more suggestive.

Our stay was very comfortable. The cabin has a modern decor and updated interior. We had great conversations around the campfire with others staying on the property. Nicely situated between East Tawas and Oscoda for easy access to the area's many attractions.
The only drawback was the lack of a thorough job by the cleaning crew.
We made no contact with the Guest Contact/Property Manager. - reason for the 1 star.
We loved the location and the layout was great. This is my first Vrbo stay that wasn't a 5 star rating. We had several issues with the property. First, the place had such a strong musty odor that we had to wash everything and air our luggage outside for hours. I was miserable most of the time inside the house. Maybe it was closed up too long? Second, no window covers on the kitchen and large doorwall. At night, you can see right into the kitchen and the main living area. It was awkward when neighbors had a bonfire and could see right into where I was working on my laptop. Third, the storm door's lock and door closer were broken...it looked like someone had tried to break in previously. We didn't notice right away and while we were unloading the car, the door closed quickly and sliced open my ankle. Finally, the dining table was too small for just two people and the chairs were metal and uncomfortable. Lastly, the fire pit is in an awkward spot to be shared. We were lucky that our neighbors didn't use it since it was really close to our unit. So, not horrible but a lot of little things that could have made it better. Also, note that the master bed is a Sleep Number air mattress. It was pretty awkward to sleep on.
The property had everything that you need. It was clean and easy to find. The host was helpful and responsive. It is conveniently located between Tawas and Oscoda. The only downside was that you have to cross a fairly busy rural highway to get to the public beach access. Once there the beach was very nice.
