4BR Coastal Cottage with Private Beach and Private Beachside parking

Situated on a private street, this charming cottage has access to both a private beach and salt water pond. The salt water pond is ideal for kayaking, fishing, exploring and swimming for small children. The private beach is shared only by the other homes on the street and is located a short drive away- private parking lot included! No need to fight the crowds for a prime beach spot and carry your beach gear far away.

The house itself has four beautiful bedrooms, three with Queen beds and one King. The living room and kitchen are an open floor plan, ideal for family hang outs, and attached is a large deck in the trees the kids can have lunch in a “treehouse “ or perfect for cookouts. On the lower floor there is another family room with a separate TV and couch, kids downstairs quiet adult time upstairs, as well as a large bathroom. Two bedrooms are on each floor. Please bring your own linens and towels, there is a washer and dryer for you to use while at the house. The house has been updated with all new air conditioning units, a new washer and dryer, new mattress in the upstairs bedroom, and new oven/ stove

This is a very special street where many memories have been made. We cant wait for you to come make some of your own!

Second year in a row for family vacation stay

This house is great for multigenerational families. Comfortably furnished and well equipped. Nice deck for relaxing and grilling. Outdoor shower for after beach rinses. Short walk to Ninigret Pond for boating and crabbing. Access to private beach parking is a great asset.

A special week

We enjoyed our stay. The home was cool during a very warm and humid week. We enjoyed the deck for dinners and spent time in the two living rooms (the kids slept upstairs). The beach pass was fantastic and there was room for parking even during the July 4th week. The blender wasn’t working and the owner brought over a new one within a day’s notice. We recommend staying here.

Beautiful home- great vacation

This is a fantastic house. They have maximized the space, and created such a spacious, comfortable, bright home. My husband and I stayed with our two children (under 10). They used the bedrooms upstairs and it felt like my husband and I had our own little private apartment downstairs. The beach included with the SACA pass is the best in New England as far as I am concerned. The house is clean and has literally everything you could need including a great deck and large grill. We will be back again- thanks so much for having us!

Beautiful house, great location

We loved this rental. The information and communication was excellent. My child managed to lock us out of the downstairs (she didn’t realize there was a locked knob and closed the door). Someone was over very quickly to help us get back in. Kristen was quick to help with any questions. The house was roomy and beautifully decorated. The private lot for the beach was really wonderful on crowded days and so we could stay later in the evening. Thanks for hosting us!

The location is nice, the private beach pass is excellent, and the house looks like the photos, but is very, very damp and dated. The downstairs smells like a wet basement and the dehumidifier needed to be emptied multiple times/day. The kitchen isn't well stocked (there are no large spoons, very little silverware, the nonstick pans are scratched and in terrible condition) and the A/C in one of the bedrooms didn't work. We overlooked these issues at first because the owner was friendly and responsive, but she turned angry and unreasonable at the end of our trip-- the owner said we left sand on the floor (it is a beach house) and a towel and plate on the porch and she charged an additional $500 in fees for cleaning. While we should have done a better job cleaning up the sand, additional cleaning fees could not have been $500. Instead of charging us the additional amount her cleaning crew charged her, she was spiteful and pocketed $500. If you rent this house (and you should consider, for the location and private beach), I encourage you to read the contract carefully and understand that the owner can charge you $500 for any minor infraction.

Perfect summer family vacation

This house was just as described and perfect for our family vacation. It was close to the beach and loads of other area activities. The house was clean and Kristen was responsive and helpful. We truly enjoyed staying at the house and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this wonderful area in Rhode Island.

Kristen is the best to deal with, house is in a great location only downside is there should be twice a week pickup on recycling not just Tuesday’s they should be picked up with trash on Saturday also

Perfect for our summer vacay!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The house was exactly as advertised. I was surprised at how much interior room there was based on the photo of the outside. Upstairs living area is spacious and comfortable. Bedrooms are a nice size. Beds were all comfortable. Hope to rent again next year!

the property was as described. The host was always responsive to questions. We had a 1 year old with us and they were always available with recommendations of calm beach access and great pleases to dine. It mad a huge difference. Hope to rent again next year.

Terrific location with access to private beach

The location of this rental and it’s access to private parking and East Beach is great. Next year we’ll bring a couple of kayaks to take advantage of its close location to Ninigret Pond. Have already booked for next year.

Great Location

A comfortable beach house in a great location. First, it’s about a mile to your own private beach, with your own parking spot when all the other lots are full. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly. There are restaurants, grocery stores, shopping centers, golf, paddle boarding, etc. all within a short drive. How can you beat that?

Lots of room

We enjoyed our 2 week stay on Kristen’s property. The spread out bedroom layout was key and we really enjoyed nights on the deck after the little one was asleep. The private beach pass was a huge reason we booked this property since blue shutters and East beach fill up so quickly. We had a few issues come up while staying on the property but communication with Kristen was great. The house is beautifully decorated. Would recommend bringing an oscillating fan for the bedrooms since the main AC is in the main living space on both floors. We used the one fan for the downstairs bedroom. The crib in the bedroom downstairs was key. The two driveways was great for when friends came to visit for the day. We didn’t get to give the outdoor shower a whirl bc the water pressure wasn’t adequate enough to shower. The outdoor house was great for washing off the beach sand of the day. We took the little one to the breachway which she loved bc the waves were too high at blue shutters for her to go in. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need. We stayed in and cooked a lot so this was great. Can’t wait to visit charlestown again next summer!!!

Great Quonnie beach stay!

Private access and parking at the beach is key. Property worked well for us 5-6 adults. A few items not working great were outdoor shower, two stove burners and the deck and house could use a power wash but the house was clean and had comfy beds, newer pillows and a perfect location. Enjoy!

Location and Charm

This rental offers a charming beach home in a fantastic location. With four bedrooms and two full baths (as well as lots of on-site parking and an outdoor shower) it’s hard to beat this tastefully decorated home in a wonderful neighborhood. Access to a private parking lot and ocean beach truly makes your vacation. As July vacationers, we passed long lines and saw closed parking lots for both the town and state beach on weekends. The owners were very nice and responded quickly to any questions. We look forward to staying again.

Great family beach vacation

Wonderful place. We had our family of 5 including our 7, 4, and two year old at the house. Plenty of room. We had additional visitors as well for some parts of the week. Kids loved it and had a great time playing in the yard. Quiet lot. Short walk to the pond for some fishing and chasing crabs with the kids. About a mile to private beach with private parking — a great asset. Owner was easy to work with though we had no real issues. Great, comfy beach house for our annual New England family trip. Thanks for having us! Hope to come back soon.

Fevzi and Kristen have a very special place in their hearts for Hoxie Avenue. Kristen has been coming to this street, exploring every corner of East Beach community, since she was a child. Its just that kind of a place, once you come, you don't ever want to leave.

Kristen and Fevzi currently live in New York City, where they both work in the fashion industry and have two young children. This house has long been a dream for them and they are so excited to share this special place with you- they hope you will love it just as much as they do!

Why they chose this property

This is a special street. Its a quiet street, wonderful for children riding bikes or taking walks to the beach that is less then a mile away.

The salt water pond is only steps away, and the perfect spot for an afternoon kayak ride or just catching the sunset. But the most special part of this house is the beach - four miles of beautiful undeveloped beach. The private beach is shared between just the few other houses on the street, but its location is right next to the Blue Shutters public beach, which means beathroom facilities are only steps away.

The house itself is open and airy, the perfect place to hang with the ones you love. The deck outside is perfect for evening BBQ's and late summer nights. Its a house. There are two full bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower, four good sizes bed rooms and two living rooms. We have a full kitchen - dishes and cookware, even that lobster pot for your New England clam bake! The only thing you need to bring is your own sheets and towels, food, family and good times.
