Paisley, a cool pool in Hill Country heat is worth bragging about, so I'm glad that one landed. You're right on both counts, though. The primary shower not producing hot water is a real problem, and a plumber has since replaced the mixing valve and rebalanced the water heater for that side of the house. The pool pump is being moved to a timer that shuts it down through the evening, and we're adding a sound enclosure around the equipment pad so the fire pit and patio stay quiet. Alejandra, a bedroom where water came up every time you stepped on the floor is not a room we should have handed anyone. That leak is repaired, the flooring in that room has been replaced, and the stained couch is out. The pool and hot tub were the other half of it. Controls are now set up inside the house so you can run the lights and set the temperature yourself, with a printed guide left by the kitchen, no phone calls required. Come back when the weather turns warm and have that pool for a full weekend the way you planned to. There is 10% off your next stay whenever you come back, the same as for all our returning guests.
