An amazing family stay — we can't wait to come backWe stayed at Cara's for a family get-together in mid-October and it was honestly perfect. The house had plenty of room for our whole crew — our family of four plus extended family coming and going all week — and never once felt crowded. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, exactly as described.The setting is hard to beat. Garland in the fall is stunning, and the property was the ideal home base: quiet and peaceful, surrounded by color, with the resort's golf and amenities right there. Our boys (11 and 13) loved having space to run around, and the adults loved the evenings just as much.Communication with the host was easy from booking to checkout, and everything about the stay was smooth. If you're looking for a place in the Lewiston/Garland area for a family trip or a reunion, this is it. Amazing stay — we'd book it again in a heartbeat.— Jason P.

Great cottage and location! We enjoyed our stay and were glad to return to it each night. The sheets and blankets were not clean and we had to wash them when we got there. One blanket had an old band-aid stuck to it (ugh). But overall it was a good fit for our family.

Girls golf weekend

The deck was amazing! So much room and plenty of chairs. The cottage was just as described. I would definitely recommend for others to stay. We had a great experience!

Perfect Spot!

Me & a few buddies stayed here for half of our trip to Garland but definitely did not want to have to switch to another place. Place had everything we needed, and the back deck was perfect; very spacious for grilling out and relaxing! Traveled in late September. Weather was amazing and no issues getting cabin warm or cool!

Woodsy decor gave our cottage a homey feel. Friendly, live support personnel were just a call/text away 24/7. Our windows looked out on the trees ringing the golf course. Appliances included mid-size fridge, toaster, iron and hairdryer. The only negative was how much sound carried between the upper and lower sleeping areas.
Parking is level with the house.
The property gave us beautiful views of fall colors!

This rustic cabin inside outside gives whoever that stays here a good feeling being in it, or out on the deck. Nestled in the woods, along the golf course, in a quiet setting is what we love. Even if you stay there for golfing on their all 5 beautiful golf courses, or to hang out up north hitting surrounding cities, it's very good both ways. You feel safe & the golfers are always very polite, & respectful of your privacy while never getting loud. Two car parking & well lit at night adds to your safety too. Every time I've needed something I call the host & it gets done quickly. A few suggestions I would make, although minor, would be have carpet cleaned soon (although it was nice but few spots here there because of lighter color), add a few hooks in downstairs bedroom at end of bed wall, and few wall hooks in kitchen area to hang kitchen towels & clean up sink rag. Also lubricate both doors coming in (squeaky). Doorwall screen could also be lubed at bottom to slide more easily. But, if you asked me 10 times if I'd stay there again, you get 10 yes's lol my goal is to book next year again as long as prices are reasonable ...

Fabulous!

This property is well maintained, extremely clean and very well equipped. It was easy to find and such a beautiful location. The beds were comfortable and the towels were so plush! It was great having a washer and dryer as well as a natural gas BBQ grill that we did utilized. The deck is large and just a pleasure to sit out on and view the trees and golf course. We saw two deer and a family of wild turkeys right in front of the deck which was a pleasant surprise! Grocery store as well as a Rite Aid drug store is a few miles down the road which was very convenient. There is no question I would stay here again, I was sad to leave…what a haven!

Lewiston Cabin

Overall decent property to stay at. Upon checking in I received a phone call regarding no internet service and was told there was an outage in the area. Our 3rd day a cable guy arrived and found a bad line outside of the home and was able to get service restored. No discount was offered for any inconvenience. Candie, was extremely professional and her communication was second to none!

Everything was great except the drunks who had the two places surrounding us. They kept forgetting that our cottage wasn't theirs. They would bang on the door trying to get in.
