Great house close to downtown. Lovely new kitchen and bathrooms. We really loved the porch.

Not good

The house is walkable distance to Main St and has a nice front screened in porch. However, there are many deficiencies: the house feels damp and humid, despite the AC units throughout the house. The ceilings are low in some areas, making the house not friendly for tall people. It's very difficult to bake or cook, the oven ventilation doesn't work and sets off the smoke alarm every time. The front burner on the stove is uneven, so food does not cook evenly. The kitchen supplies need improvement. We failed to notice in the amenities that there is not a washer and dryer which is a huge inconvenience.

Hello Blanca, thank you so much for your feedback. This is an older home, built in 1920! It has great charm, but I can completely understand the inconvenience of low ceilings. I have passed along some of your other concerns to the owner as well as our property care team.
