A step back in history. Other then the dishwasher and laundry, very true to the 1950s spirit. A great opportunity for the grandparents to reminisce and for my child to learn about the lifestyle at that time.

Very cute house! We were here for a ISU function, and the house is so close to the college. The house was very clean, comfortable beds and great location. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very accommodating.

Fun spot near ISU campus

The house was decorated in a very cute manner. It was very clean and located in a perfect spot near campus for our group of 9 girls. We would definitely stay again if our dance group travels to ISU in the future!

Good spot for campus visit

We stayed here to go to an ISU football game, convenient and close to campus. The unit was nice and served our purpose, we didn't spend a whole lot of time there but the price was right for the amount of beds there were.

DO NOT STAY HERE — COCKROACH INFESTATIONOur family of six stayed here for two nights and discovered cockroaches in the property. We arrived late the first night and noticed very small bugs the next morning but did not realize they were cockroaches. We were away most of the day for a college visit and returned late. Around 11 PM, we discovered more cockroaches and immediately understood the seriousness of the problem.I messaged the host around midnight. We had four children with us and were leaving the next morning, so I was not going to wake everyone in the middle of the night. The cockroaches were primarily in the kitchen, which we barely used. The next morning, while packing, a roughly one-inch cockroach ran out from under a shoe near the front door.Management later called our report “late in the stay,” which is extremely misleading for a two-night stay. We reported the problem as soon as we realized what we were dealing with.We requested a full refund. Management offered only the cleaning fee, claiming their inspection after our stay found no cockroaches. We have photographs of the cockroaches we found. A post-stay inspection does not erase our experience.This ruined our family weekend, and we spent an entire day after returning home meticulously inspecting and cleaning our belongings and vehicle out of concern we could have brought cockroaches home.We strongly caution future guests, especially families, against staying here until the property has been professi

Great stay! Great Location! The home was fully stocked! Felt so comfortable - just like home! Will definitely stay again when in the area. Owner was a little difficult to get a hold of as we wanted to extend our stay, but it all worked out!

Always a great place!

We have stayed here twice now. First time just renting one half and next time the whole house. Everything is always so perfect. Much better then any hotel and much nicer our family can be in one spot sharing a home! We plan to be back again!

In town for a memorial service

We were very happy to find this property for our long weekend in Bloomington. Centrally located, sleeps many, 2 full baths, equipped kitchen, plenty of parking. Family members stayed in other half of duplex. Very clean, well organized, fun decor, very comfortable beds! Very happy overall.

Cute and functional

Easy check-in, cute decor, clean, great communication! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us 4 adults and 2 kids. Sara made sure we had all the information we needed prior to check-in and was quick to respond to messages we sent her and was very helpful.
