We had a great comfortable stay. The location was excellent, and the thoughtful welcome gifts—along with a well‑stocked pantry and fridge with condiments, sauces, and cooking essentials—made the house feel instantly like home. We ended up having most of our meals there. It’s conveniently close to Batemans and the National Parks. We’d happily come back.

Easter at Shell Cottage

The accommodation facilities were extremely comfortable and clean. Jude was very welcoming and happy to have a chat. Location was close to the beach and in a quiet neighbourhood.Definitely a recommended place to holiday.

Great family holiday

Really comfortable and spacious house in a beautiful location. Very close to the beach (half of which is dog-friendly too). We particularly loved the extra inclusions at the house of table tennis and kayaks. Very responsive and friendly host and overall a really great holiday.

Awesome accomodation

This place was neat, clean and amazingly spacious. More than enough room for us (4 adults and a teen)... could have accomodated more! Thiugh the weather wasn't on our side, the beach was a short walk.away and it was a short drive into town.

Fabulous house and location!

We had a lovely stay at Shell Cottage. The house is very clean, spacious, and in a quiet location very close to the beach. There are lots of kangaroos in the area which the kids loved! Communication with the host was excellent. It’s also only a short drive to Batemans Bay for groceries, shops and nice restaurants.

Great Stay

While my friends and I did not do anything by play computer games fornthe fou days we stayed, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and the internet was fast. Everything we wanted.

Great Weekend

We had a lovely weekend at the beautifully positioned and presented property, a short walk from the dog friendly and not too crowded beach. Property manager was wonderful, welcoming and kind. There are quite a few stairs, which allows for multiple, pretty private, living spaces, which would suit families with more independent kids really nicely. Very easy to enjoy, hope to come back soon!

Fantastic stay

We were Narrawallee regulars but are now Long Beach converts! The house and location were perfect. Everything we needed had been thought of and the house was spotless. We especially loved lazing on the lounge after a busy beach day. The beach was bliss for all of us including our one year old pup. We were delighted to discover the coffee van and pizza cart on Tuesday and the burger/chip van on Friday. Such a fabulous, family friendly beach! We really didn’t want to leave! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Family Getaway

We stayed at Shell Cottage for 3 nights but did not want to leave! They have thought of everything, from the fully functional kitchen to the immaculate and well presented bedrooms. My children loved their private haven which included a bathroom, perfect for rinsing off the sand after an afternoon at the beach (3 minute walk!). The children’s books and games were an added bonus. Both bathrooms were extremely clean, no mould and the water pressure was great. The beds were really comfortable and beautifully presented. The thought and attention to detail throughout the house really helped to bring everything together for a relaxing and stress free stay. While we didn’t use them, we did notice a high chair and portable cot also available to use. We will definitely be back to stay again and highly recommend to any families looking for a family friendly holiday space where everything has been thought of. You just need to turn up and relax!
