Air conditioning wasn’t working for our stay. And other minor things. Very hot and sticky couldn’t sleep very well

We do apologise the air conditioner failed during your stay. Our maintenance team attempted to repair it to make your stay more pleasant but was unsuccessful. The air conditioner has since been replaced.

The house itself is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. Unfortunately when we got there, upstairs had dog hair everywhere. No matter how much we vacuumed, dog hair just kept appearing. We felt like we were just vacuuming non stop the whole time we were there. We thought there was no pets allowed, which is why we choose this house. Our son ended up having a reaction when sitting on the couch (due to all the dog hair), but we always carry Zyrtec, so it wasn't too bad. We notified The Holidays Collection they responded in good time. Also the Fujitsu AC unit failed on our 2nd day. And just our luck it was 39 degrees that day. We notified The Holidays Collection and they said they can send someone out to take a look, but as weren't going to be at the house all day, we didn't feeling comfortable with someone coming when we were not there. We were out most of the day, but that night was very humid and not very comfortable. The error thrown was 94, which means possible clogged filters or low refrigerant. Took a closer look at the fins on the front of the AC unit, it looked like it had a lot of dust or mold on it. It definitely looks like it needa a good clean at least. Having stayed in the area a few times over the past few years, this is one of the nicer houses we have stayed at. But it does need to be maintained a little better. The Holidays Collection team was great to deal with.
