I’ve stayed at Runaway Bay several times previously in different condos but this one was my favorite. The water view was great and we enjoyed seeing dolphins from the patio. The renovations to this unit are gorgeous and everything was very clean.

This was, by far, the cleanest property we have ever rented. It was immaculate! The view is beautiful. The fishing off the dock is actually really good. A lot of local fishermen in boats fish just offshore in front of this condo. The neighbor lady is a permanent resident and very kind and helpful. The communication with the property manager was quick and efficient and the Rental process was seamless. There's a lot of room to store things in this condo. The beds are comfortable and the decorations are tasteful. There are no stairs and one of the bathrooms has a a shower that does not require you to step over anything.. so this would be a good place to rent if you have limited mobility.

Best Friends Trip

We had an amazing week at Anna Maria Island! Our condo was very clean and stocked with everything you need!! Looked just like the pictures, beds were super comfortable! Dana, our property manager was beyond great!! Would love to stay here again when i go back & hopefully Dana will still be our contact person!!

Hidden Gem

I typically like staying on the ocean, but decided to go with this condo on the bay. I'm so glad I did! I watched the sunrise every morning, while enjoying the Florida wildlife! Beautiful place and I'll definitely come back! Plenty of amenities for your beach vacation.

This is our 3rd year staying at Runaway Bay. The first 2 years were private rentals, so I wasn't sure what to expect from a larger rental company, but I found it much better! No fussy attitudes if you had a question...the staff were excellent and very communicative. Due to the reviews of this unit not being "well stocked" I brought a lot with me. But I didn't need any of it! The kitchen already had everything I needed (and more) to cook for my family of 6. I did use my consumables such as laundry/dish soap, trash bags, and toilet paper because we were there for 2 weeks. But the rest, I didn't even bother to unpack from my van. There was also an assortment of beach stuff such as towels, chairs, a canopy, toys, pickle ball rackets, a fishing pole, and even a wagon to pull it all in. Inside, were a couple of board and card games and puzzles. The pool is a really nice feature of this property. This unit has a great view of the water where you can see dolphins, the occasional shark, and of course all the boats whizzing by. There is also a short pier within steps that is nice to sit at in the mornings and evenings. The only flaw of our stay, which happens every year and has nothing to do with the rental company or unit, is that the senior citizens who live at this complex don't seem to like tourists and can be unmannerly and ridiculous with nothing better to do than boss other people. But if you can ignore them (like us!) it's worth it! Planning to come again next year.

Great time at Blissfull Bay

Condo well stocked although we had a few issues with TV cable and parking tags but they were handled promptly and completely. Property Mgmt. was very responsive. Furniture (sofa) wasn't very comfortable and the patio furniture needs to be replaced but the beautiful bay view and daily visit from local birds was such a treat!!

Great place

The unit was very clean and worked great for us. Nice having the two rooms with three beds and two bathrooms. Having the starter kit of dish soap, sponge, shampoo, etc was great! The pier/dock over the water was very close to our unit so my husband could fish. The Gulf was a fairly short walk for me. The only thing that I would definitely add would be beach chairs. There were two small coolers which was nice!

*Property managers were very accommodating and easy to deal with *Condo only came with THE basics ~ other rentals we’ve stayed in the past had things like leftover trash bags, Ziplock baggies, laundry soap, coffee filters and other things that were left behind and that was nice because we didn’t have to buy everything *so many ants everywhere ~ maybe some baits? Had a bad scare in the bedroom with some large groups of ants because we thought they were bed bugs!! *many beach supplies were in the closet

Blissful Bay

Condo clean, view beautiful. We have been coming vacationing at Runaway Bay since 1993. Very familiar with location and area. This is the first condo at Runaway I felt was very short on basic house hold needs. No scratch paper, pens or pencils. Absolutely no salt/ pepper, basic kitchen needs. We are accustomed to having a few paper plates, garbage bags, a few laundry soaps, dishwasher soaps. Things to get us over the first day, move in chaos. It’s an additional expense to add coffee filters and basic needs. Items we’ve always had. Overall I felt the condo itself was welcoming but the lack of any basic household needs wasn’t. Judy Bird
