Ellie & Ash were exceptional hosts throughout my stay. They were welcoming, responsive to my communications, always being kind & informative & available to help with any routine accommodation matters if needed.Excellent location with shops & transport easily accessible, and, more particularly, a picturesque scenic outlook over Mt Cooth-tha valley with its fine range of wildlife birds on display every morning & evening.The local king parrots, kookaburras, magpies, butcher birds, currawongs & cockatoos were particularly good company as they enjoyed being around the pool & in the trees close to the house.Bed was firm & comfy & the saltwater pool outside the living & bedroom area provided a much-needed space of quiet peaceful serenity & refreshment throughout my 9-week visit.Mt. Cooth-tha walking tracks just around the corner (and across the park) was bliss for this nature lover & walking enthusiast. Several 50m outdoor pools in the area were fabulous too!Kitchenette was functional with a cooktop & microwave with decent crockery & cooking utensils, medium sized fridge more than meeting my needs (& I do all my own cooking!). Storage (in kitchen & bedroom) required a bit of creativity but hey we're on holidays!! And plans are in place for more (kitchen) cupboards - very happy about this as this lovely studio is my go-to for all future visits to this beautiful part of Brisbane for the foreseeable future!Thanks, Ellie & Ash, for your warm and generous hospitality.

Leafy retreat

A peaceful, comfortable and roomy studio below a house, with easy GPS access into the city and other tourist areas, including walking trails on Mt Coo-Tha close by.

Nice location

Nice place to stay with good access to nature. Spacious except for the kitchen. It is at the back of the main residence.
