Great place with very affordable rates. Extremly private with no neighbors. Nice fire pit in the back that we spent most our time. House was warm with no a/c. Definitely a strange smell in the living room. Overall great stay for the price.
Everything was great… only complaint is a little warm

Unkept and dirty sheets. Food left in fridge, ants and mold smell throughout the home. Left after 2 days of a 3 day rental

Five adult male golfers stayed here for two nights The location was good and the residence had everything our group needed for an enjoyable stay.
The master bedroom is large with a master bathroom that has a soaking tub and walk in shower.
The other bedrooms were large and well appointed.
The living room is very large and comfortable.
We did not use the kitchen.
We traveled to Maine for a senior trip for my daughter and her cousin. The house was just like in the pictures. They did ask for suggestions and so we let them know they should stock up on the basics plus a pizza pan as there was no way to cook our pizzas. Overall great communication as we got in late and we had asked them to turn on the lights. House was lit when we got there. It is a work in progress but it helped us have a wonderful time for our first visit to Maine.

Not what we expected based on pictures
The property was secluded, which we liked. It didn't appear that it had been cleaned before our stay. One twin bed was missing a top sheet. When we reached out to the owner we were asked what happened to it. When I explained that there wasn't one I was told that there were spare in the It was dusty, the kitchen table and chairs were sticky like someone kids had jam on their hands when sitting at it. The dishes and utensils that we pulled out looked dirty so we rewashed everything we uses. There were ants and we had a mouse at some point (bread package chewed through).
