Belle Cottage, Sassafras - 2 bedroom cottage with wood burner in Sassafras

Belle Cottage is located close to the Village of Sassafras, and a short drive to the renowned Proserpina Bakery, and close to the Villages of Olinda and Mount Dandenong.

Stylishly furnished, Belle has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and a queen bed in the other. The lounge area has a sweet wood burner, pefect for the chilly Hills days! Antique dining table to enjoy a meal or chat with friends, and bar stools at the kitchen bench - good for breakfast! Kitchen is functional, with upright cooker, fridge, coffee pod machine, everything you need for your stay.

Please note the driveway access is difficult for guests driving small or low cars.

A little balcony off the kitchen is perfect to take in the view of the trees, whilst enjoying your morning cuppa! Bathroom is well presented, with a shower over bath. Outdoor area with seating is an inviting area to enjoy the great outdoors.

WiFi? Of course! TV? Yes! With Chromecast to access Netflix (using your own account).

A lovely stay

The property and location were lovely and we saw a family of deer just a few metres away on our last morning. The parking is a bit tricky (but managable:) ). Thanks so much!

Well looked after!

Very comfortable and we felt well looked after. The house was well stocked with board games, pantry items, cleaning products etc and we just felt they had thought of everything. The cottage had a cozy feel but was plently spacious for our family of 4. We felt the owners put a lot of though and consideration for their guest's. 5 stars!

Cozy place to stay

The property was comfortable and a beautiful place to stay. It was a beautiful and clean house with a lovely view and gorgeous surroundings! However, the one downfall was the very steep driveway and very narrow street made parking very difficult. Mind you we do not have a four-wheeled drive but without this type of vehicle, I cannot imagine navigating this driveaway without issue. The property owners sent someone to help us as we experienced car issues because of this issue, which helped alleviate a lot of stress. I definitely think it is important to be aware of this and prepared for it to avoid anxiety or any issues because of it.
