The house was awsome and wenjoyed the stay. The code loxks were removed and a dead bolt was intalled but a quick call and the situation was rectified. Good service and a great location.
Great spot for my family. Cannot be happier about the bedroom downstairs as my Dad is disabled and struggles with stairs. I cannot stop talking about the couch downstairs. It’s super comfortable with the deepest cushions.Host was quick to respond with a little minor issue with the door lock not working due to a low battery. Host quickly remotely unlocked the door and even left us a key to use for our stay. Only downfall was there was no can opener in the kitchen but was quickly solved by a quick trip to the grocery store.

Inaccurate Listing
The property is actually split into a duplex style house, with rentable space in the basement and upstairs. There is a door that opens straight from one to the other that was completely accessible.
There was a backyard that was fenced in as advertised, but the only entrance to downstairs is in the backyard so the dogs got scared by the other renter, because we were unaware they were there! We also had a problem finding a lot of bones in the backyard?! They seemed to be bones from chicken wings, but it was hard to tell as I kept having to fish them out of my dogs' mouths.
The kitchen was not as stocked as advertised - no paper towels or any towels to be found in there.
The rooms were nice, and the beds comfortable. Loved the living room area, but did think it was odd that the TV couldn't log in to our accounts or log out.
Our biggest problem was being unaware that we were sharing our space, and the garbage/bones in the backyard.

Hi Jordan, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We strive to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable experience with us and provide high standards of hospitality. We're sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star stay we endeavor to provide our guests.
- We aim for transparency and our listing and photos are accurately advertised. The house is not designed as a duplex-style property. The basement has a distinct separate entrance, preventing downstairs guests from accessing the upstairs area. Additionally, the backyard can be accessed through the kitchen, mudroom, and then the backyard. To ensure you were aware of the guest in the basement, we reached out to you about the situation before your arrival. To confirm on the layout, the unit isn’t being shared as the listing states 3
bedrooms and two bathrooms which doesn’t include the basement. For clarification, the backyard, however, is open and shared.
- It's important to us that guests have the necessities for their stay. We have stocked extra paper towels and plenty of trash bags under the sink for guest convenience. There are also extra towels in both the upstairs and main downstairs bathrooms.
- Guest comfort and satisfaction are important to us. We're sorry you had issues with logging in and out of your account on the television. We wish you had reached out to us so we would have the opportunity to assist you.
We truly do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
Pros; The house was very nice, very clean and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Cons: Unfortunately, the main floor toilet was temperamental and only flushed sometimes. We do understand things can happen. Property manager was emailed but never responded. (We did say in the email that we could use the upstairs toilet for remainder of stay.). The main issue with this rental was the lower level tenant. On our first night we were startled by a young lady jiggling the front door handle trying to get into the house while we were sitting right there on the sofa in the living room at almost 10pm, startling us. In the end, no big deal, seemed to be a mistake/misunderstanding of some sort about how to gain access to the lower level tenant. I would not have mentioned the incident except that on our second night, we were again disturbed the lower level tenant when they had a small party from 10pm until 4am. This was extremely inconvenient as we could hear every single thing through the stairway and floor vents. No sleep was had that night unfortunately and we had to be up by 6am for a 7 hour drive back home. Renters contract mentions quiet time after 10pm, which basement tenant must not have to adhere to.The property is very nice and was convenient for our needs, but will not rent next time we are in town due to issues both nights with their tenant.
