This home is located just North of the popular river town of Le Claire, IA. This is a 3 bedroom, 3 full bath house with plenty of open space and large rooms. Each room has a king size bed. 2 of the 3 rooms have large smart T.V.'s. The living rooms up stairs and down stairs each have their own smart television as well. There is a deck that provides an amazing overlook over the river. There is a one car attached garage and a two car detached garage , with plenty of additional parking . We also have our own ramp to put your boats in and a dock to keep your boats at our property. The gazebo with the fire table provides gorgeous views of the river while you relax and socialize with friends or family. The lower garage has a fridge , and there are areas to store your tackle and fillet your fish if you are wanting to fish. There are also two fire pits for having an outdoor fire by the river .

Loved the location & the view of the river! Beautiful house: loved the fireplaces, very comfy couch to watch movies, King sized beds that were very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen with all our cooking essentials. We really enjoyed checking out LeClaire, as well as Clinton, Bettendorf, Moline & Davenport. Lots of fun shops to check out in LeClaire.

Wonderful getaway

The property was just remodeled, spotless and extremely comfortable. We loved relaxing on that huge sectional with the fireplace going after a day out sightseeing. Convenient to the cute Le Claire strip with antique shops and restaurants (a short 2-3 min drive). The view and sunrise over the Mississippi was such a great bonus every day!Thanks Eric!

Quick family weekend

We enjoyed the house alot. It's a split entry for anyone who may have issues with steps, but it was great! Rooms are large, comfortable with plenty of seating areas inside and out. We especially enjoyed the firepit area and gazebo. gazebo!

In the area for a family reunion to celebrate my dad’s life after his passing. Despite the rising waters on the Mississippi Eric helped us work things out. A highly recommend any of his properties.

Relaxing

It was the perfect size for my family and in-laws. Easy access to the river and not too far away from town. So if wanted we were able to go enjoy the area. Plenty of space to hang out whether it was inside or out. The only complaint is you are close to train tracks.

Great Family Getaway on the River

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house is very clean and the living space was more than enough for us. Being able to launch and dock my boat from the back yard 10/10! Watching the sunrise from the deck is very refreshing! The host is responsive to any questions. Will book again same time next year!

Girls Weekend

We had a great time at this property. It met all of our wish list items. Beds were comfy. Living spaces and kitchen large enough for our group of 6. Close to town. We were use to the nightly trains by day 2!! Best part was the spectacular view of the river from both the upstairs and downstairs porch/patio

Awesome River Retreat

This propery is our favorite. We travel and use VRBOs alot. This one is outstanding. Clean and comfy. Great accommodations. Close to everything we needed. Put our pontoon in right at property. Wondeful dock right there. Couldn't be more perfect! 10/10!!

Perfect home on the river

This house is wonderful, the photos don’t do it justice. It has all the modern amenities you would want while on vacation. All the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and nice linens. The view from the kitchen, dining room and living room are the best to enjoy the view of the Mississippi River. The home is a perfect place for a weekend getaway or during the holidays. Eric the owner was responsive and polite. The town offers lots of options for food and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Girl's Getaway

We loved the property. It was helpful that the weather cooperated, we were able to use the riverfront swing and balcony for sunrise viewing and coffee. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay! Plenty of room for us to gather together and also wonderful spaces for time alone. Only small recommendation, there were no towels in the downstairs bathroom. Nothing serious, but small inconvenience.

nice house, beautiful setting, convenient location would stay here again not perfect - these issues may be more important to some than others: no shower in master bedroom, just tub. Shower in hall bathroom extremely slippery, no grab bars (challenge for us seniors). Remodel planned in fall so this may be corrected. Internet would not stay connected. Trains were loud but not an issue.

Hanging by the Mighty Mississippi

We went in ver to the Mississippi to bike the Great River trail. Had a lovely stay at our VRBO on the river. Peaceful nights by the fire pit. There is a train track near by, but we enjoyed the trains. Nice size bedrooms. House worked great for our group of 6. Internet was a bit spotty.

Great Gathering Location!

This location was excellent for a girl's weekend which consisted of seven ladies. There was plenty of room to sit at the kitchen table and eat, play games and chat. We also enjoyed all of the seating outside around the fire and we loved being able to sit under the gazebo the night it rained. The only recommendations we had for the owner is to make sure the deck is free from dirt and spider webs and the kitchen is clean since those were the areas we used the most. The view and location was amazing! We would stay there again.

Poor communication

Our trip to the house started off as a disaster. I hadn’t gotten instructions on how to enter the property. I emailed the host both the day before our scheduled arrival and that morning asking about information on how to access the home. I figured the information would either be at the house, or emailed to me shortly. When we arrived to the house, it was completely locked up. There was no information as to how to get in. I called the host, no response. We ended up walking up and down the street, knocking on neighbors doors asking if they knew how to contact the host. After about forty minutes one of his neighbors finally got in touch with him. He told me he got a new phone the day before and didn’t get notification about our arrival (I reserved this property through VRBO back in March 2021). He then asked if we could go somewhere for awhile so that he could make sure the house was ready. Fast forward three hours….he finally calls me saying the house is ready for us to go to. When we arrived he was there. He apologized and said he would refund me some of my money (I still have not receive s a credit yet). We were given no instructions on care of the home, laundry, etc. we were not given a key or told how to lock up the house. He then called me about an hour after our arrival and told me that the dishwasher was broken and not to use it. The house itself was pleasant enough. Two of the three beds were extremely uncomfortable. The property does have a lovely outdoor areas. The kids enjoyed fishing off of the dock.

I grew up in this area, and spent years on this section of the river . I really enjoy the property and love to share it with other who can really appreciate its location. My family and I have spent many hours down at the home, but with very active kids and career, we cannot use the home as much as we would like. My goal would be to really have people leave here with some great memories with family and friends

Why they chose this property

This property has a lot of advantages. Its location and the views are amazing. Located just a few miles north of the popular rural town of LeClaire. LeClaire is a very clean river town with a lot to offer for shopping and night life with great river views as well. Just north of the property, a winery will be opening. We love having the dock and the boat ramp and the gazebo for relaxing after fun days in the sun, and on the water.
