Overall a great experience. It was a very cozy house and I would be interested to see how it evolves as a Vrbo listing, so if we find ourselves looking to vacation to central FL again we would rebook this house Because we were traveling between Tampa, Orlando, and Miami this location was a good base, and out of the way enough to feel like we escaped the busy towns, but close enough that we could get to all the places we wanted to go.

we came for a fishing trip and this place was perfect. we could fish from the dock or the boat landing was just down the street if you want to bring the boat. we had to boats with trucks and there was plenty of room with power to plug to charge are batteries. I would stay again

This rental was great. Spent the whole month of February here and had a wonderful time. Fishing was great and the locals a lot of fun. Caught my personal best Largemouth 3 times and huge other fish (Cats, Bowfin, Pickerel). The house was as advertised and very clean. Well supplied.The property manager/cleaner, KJ, was amazing. Brought me over one of her TVs to use, and corn one night. She was available whenever needed, but not intrusive. A bedroom fan broke and was replaced within 24 hours. She even picked me up when I returned my rental boat. Definitely above and beyond.Two suggestions to make this place over the top: a big screen smart TV and remove the old pontoon for more dock/boat lift space.

We fished majority of the time and caught bass, pickerel, cat fish and crappie. Definitely recommend for hanging out, fishing, grilling/cooking and enjoying family time.

Great little lake house

We enjoyed the stay. We’re not really picky people but truly enjoyed our little vacation here. Only issue we personally had was the house wasn’t as clean as expected (just a few things missed by cleaning crew), there were a lot of bugs at night by the hot tub (a few is expected, but there was an entire blanket of bugs on the floor and screen, which cause the bugs to seep into the house), finally the gators around should be notated on the listing (gators are expected in Florida but I feel like it should’ve been notated in case people don’t know). Besides that, we had a great time! Thank you so much.

This place was exactly what we needed! Quiet, clean, convenient to things we wanted to do and reasonably priced. The hot tub was amazingly hot with powerful jets! I'm a disabled vet and rely on the hot tub for pain control. This was heaven! The host emailed me prior to my stay to confirm and then a day before to give me details on how to access the house. Super easy!! We will definitely stay here again!
