Beautifully Quiet

This is a wonderful cabin in a wonderfully quiet area. It sits almost perfectly between Grand Lake and Granby. My two dogs loved the area and were happy to get to be with us for the trip. Thank you!

We loved this property! The views from the porch were expansive. We even had a deer in the yard on the first night. The cabin had a rustic feel, was very cosy and there were a lot of games and books in the house. The kitchen is very well equipped and I love the policy of leaving still good leftover food for the next guest. The check-in and check-out both went very smoothly. Responses from the host were quick and polite. I was not a great fan of the rental agreement though and having to send photos of my driving license and a selfie. It seemed a little over the top for a 3 night stay.

Cozy place

This little cabin is so cozy and cute! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The views were incredible, and we loved staying here with our dog. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Grand Lake :)

This was the perfect place for all of our vacation adventures. Gorgeous views, far enough away from the business of town but close enough to be convenient. Beautiful book nook bay window, plus a nice porch to watch the sunset and hummingbirds. We brought hummingbird food, and they enjoyed it. Our dog loved walking in that neighborhood and hanging out on the porch with us. We enjoyed playing games, too. Everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient

Nice cabin about halfway between Grand Lake and Grandby with convenient access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Comfortable beds. Met our needs with no problems experienced.

ATV trip

The cabin was the perfect location for our ATV trip. We were able to keep our trailer on site and it was close to riding at Stillwater Pass. Close to Rocky Mountain National Park and the town of Grand Lake with many shops and restaurants. We did cook most meals at the cabin and noticed the kitchen could use a few more skillets and pans. Everything else was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable cabin

Cute, nicely equipped cabin. Great except for grasshoppers in the field behind and dirty porch. Couldn’t get the pilot light lit for the fireplace but didn’t ask the property manager for help either. Inside nice and clean.

The cabin was in the perfect location for all the activities we had planned. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities. Now the bad, we arrived at the 4 o'clock check in and there were still people packing up to leave the house. We could not get in. Once in the house, it was full of flies. It took several hours with the cordless vacuum to catch most them. We were never able to get rid of them all. Then on the 3rd morning we were awakened around 4 am to a sound coming from the other room. When looking around I found a live mouse partially stuck to to sticky trap trying to crawl under the washing machine. Of which I had to dispose of.

We take great care to ensure each home is thoroughly cleaned and inspected before every arrival. The people this guest is referring to was our inspection staff doing a final walk through. While our mountain cabins offer the charm of a natural setting, this can occasionally invite visits from outdoor wildlife despite regular pest-control measures. During this stay, our team was not made aware of any concerns until after checkout. Following departure, the home was inspected and found to be in great condition and ready for new guests to enjoy its ideal location, cozy comfort, and all its amenities. Our team is available 24/7 to assist with any concerns during a stay, ensuring every visit is as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Great Spot!

The location and the cabin is great! My husband and I stayed with his parents and it was the perfect size and had all of the things we needed. My only feedback would be that the check in process is way too intense. The manual they provide is overwhelming and too much but doesn't have necessary information for the guests (wifi information and how to use the fireplace.) The fact that this manual is pages on pages long and the wifi isn't mentioned once is... insane. It was sad we didn't get to use the fireplace since there were no clear instructions on how to turn it on but I didn't want to text the help number since it was late at night. I'd recommend getting a binder together to leave in the kitchen that has the Wifi info, the fireplace info, the checkout info and then some suggestions on things to do in the area. The manual and the constant messages from the owner and the company seriously complicated things and kind of took away from the experience. The house itself, FAB! would stay again :)

Needs Work Before Renting out!!

Move the construction equipment out of the front , and back yards. also move the Boat out of the front yard and the snowcat and plow out of the back yard. Also be sure to change the sheets before your next guest arrives to use the beds. We had to drive into Granby and purchase sheets and new pillows because of the nasty old used pillows that were left. There were stains on the sheets and pillows under the pillowcases and there was dog hair all over the entire cabin. Not sure how this was rented out by a property management company. Clearly they don't care about this rental and it makes their company look very bad. There is also siding missing on the side of the house and the main door does not function and is broken. Whomever is in charge of this rental should maybe try a different vocation . Whomever decided to rent this cabin out on Vrbo or anywhere else should be embarrassed . From the shoddy painted cabinets to the Ikea kitchen sink, unfinished trim throughout the house to the weird stains on the back of the front door. Not all VRBO rentals are perfect that is for sure and you get what you pay for. But have the decency to take pride in what you do rent out to people. Maybe shut down the rentals until the cabin is ready to rent and then go from there. If it would not have been the Holiday week and we would have had another place to go , we would have moved out in a second.

We take any and all feedback from our guests very seriously. However, we feel it is necessary to provide clarification regarding this guest’s review. When this guest stayed at the cabin it had only been listed as a vacation rental three weeks prior. Before that the unit was used as a long-term rental and changes were still taking place on the property and within the cabin. When the long-term tenants moved out the owner completely renovated and remodeled the cabin. Ultimately, transforming it into the beautiful cabin that other guests rave about today! That said, the guest was correct that there was siding missing from the side of the house. The new windows had just been installed and the contractor was scheduled to return the week after the guest departed to finish installing the siding, which has been completed. Additionally, there was heavy equipment in the yard. This is a working ranch and having equipment in the proximity of the house is not uncommon. They can be seen in the photos on the listing, but have been moved farther away from the home to provide a more comfortable stay for guests. We have professionally trained staff who are ready to assist a guest before, during, and after their stay 7 days a week, in addition to a 24/7 emergency contact phone number. After reviewing all communication our staff had with this guest the guest only reached out to us on the day of their arrival to request an early check-in. We never received another VRBO message, phone call, or email from this guest. If the guest was experiencing these issues, we are unsure why they never contacted us for assistance. The house is professionally cleaned after every stay. The housekeeping staff provides freshly laundered linens for every reservation. If there were stains on the linens and pillows the housekeeping staff would have been more than happy to address the issue and provide fresh linens, but we were never informed there was an issue. The guest also brought two dogs of his own. We do ask future guests to read other reviews associated with this property to get a better understanding of just how great this place is and the great guest experiences others have had!
