This is a very comfortable place to stay. I loved the boating experiences that were offered at this lovely property. The attentive crew of folks available to meet any need was apparent throughout our visit.
Was wonderful overall but description said unit has Air Conditioning and it does not. Was told listing would be corrected. It is Colorado so it was only needed briefly

The cabin we were placed in, Annie’s cabin, was right next to a noisy, busy road (US34), vs being located close to the lake or river. The ceiling height was just barely over my head (6’1”). Only one window had a screen, so in order to get any airflow we had to open the windows, allowing mosquitos and other insects inside. Therefore the nights were hot and stuffy. Also the mattresses were very soft and warn, making for uncomfortable sleeping. On a positive note, the small river was beautiful, if we were to return I would book one of the three newer cabins by the river. We left a day early due to uncomfortable beds.

We were in Anne's Cabin and it was very clean & cute, but we left a day early because the bed was so uncomfortable. My husband & I got maybe 2 hrs of sleep the first night because it was so hot (even with opening the one screened window in the bathroom) & the memory foam bed was horrible. There is no counter space in the bathroom with the oversized vessel sink that is there. Would be better to have a smaller sink. The river is very nice to sit by. Would have enjoyed to have bushes and weeds cleared to make a path to get there, because it is all overgrown. The campfire was the highlight of our stay. There was a stack of nicely chopped firewood to use, but we could not find a lighter anywhere, so we had to go buy some matches. We enjoyed seeing a couple deer walk right through the property. We also loved having access to the canoes nearby. Wish we could have enjoyed the 2nd night that we booked, but we just couldn't deal with that bed again.
