Amazing historic house in awesome location

Google maps showed a derelict property but xlearly that is very dated. The hosts have done an amazing job renovating the property. It was a pleasure and privilege to stay there.

The property is in a quiet location overlooking a boat building shop & creek. Great location, a short walk to The Breakfast Creek hotel. Very spacious & comfortable furnishings, the kitchen & bathroom provide many items to use. We enjoyed our stay there.

The Boat House was Great

We had a great stay at the Boat House, which is a recently renovated Queenslander house. It is in a quiet and beautiful location on the edge of Breakfast Creek, easy walking distance to the Breakfast Creek Hotel as well as to the train station.

The Boat House was great for our family visit to Brisbane. It was close to walking and running paths alongside the Brisbane river, lots of coffee roastaries nearby, and centrally located. The house itself was just like the pics. Super comfortable and great hosts. Highly recommend

Property was well set out, in a great position with easy access to cafés and shops only a 15 minute walk or less away. Great river walks in every direction and easy access to city bypass, etc. with the car. Property is very well stocked with consumables. A great base to explore Brisbane for us.

Loved checking out the Boat Builders out the back windows, loved waking up to the water view, loved the big cosy sofa, loved the enormous bathroom and perfect kitchen. Magic Spot

What you see in the online listing is what you get. Charming old Queenslander at the end of Argyle Street right on Breakfast Creek and part of an active but old fashioned boat service business. Quiet, private with ample parking in the area. Very comfortable, specious, with morning sun on the veranda, great river breezes and school rowing 4's and 8's use the creek for training which adds to the atmosphere. Access up the stairs could be more challenging for older people. Short walk to Breakfast Creek hotel but Fortitude Valley is a stretch to walk. Close to the airport. Quintessential historical pocket of Brisbane in one parcel. Will use this place as a base for future Brisbane visits.
