Peace & Quiet
The perfect location and property for a peaceful, relaxing vacation while still being close to everything. The house was very comfortable for the 6 of us. The sunsets on the pond were such a pleasant surprise and absolutely gorgeous. And, of course, the M&F staff are the best and so accommodating with anything we need!
This house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful time of R&R. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels. The location was perfect! We felt like we were away from it all, yet everything we needed such as grocery store, restaurants, trails, etc are within an easy short ride. Definitely will stay there again.

Quiet Cove
Nice cabin on Quimby Pond, very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and all clean. Pretty shoreline and dock. We have used other rental services, but Morton & Furbish is the absolute best, very responsive and helpful. Thank you!
We were so pleased with the privacy of this home, the easy access to the nearby town, 7 miles away, and the ability to easily view our grandkids swimmigg in the the shallow 4ft water. Kayaks and canoe were a hit! Cabin had everything wed hoped for. the shallow water

Hi Lisa! Thank you so much for this review we really appreciate it!! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you come back soon! :))
Friends and family stayed here and at the cabin Serendipity up the road, to be together to watch the eclipse this month. It couldn’t have been more lovely. The home is clean and comfortable, the rooms just as described, and the setting is beautiful. There are a few cabins nearby, but we didn’t see anyone even for this popular weekend. It was quiet and lovely and had plenty of room for people to be together in the living room and kitchen area. The water was shallow, but we had two generations cold-dipping off the dock, in knee high slushy water! It’s a beautiful cabin and a lovely place to stay.
We had updates and were provided information up to the day we arrived. It is named Quiet Cove and that is exactly what it was! So serene amd peaceful. The house itself was fully equipped with everything anyone would need for their visit. From the kitchen utensils, appliances and spices. Including the griddle. We made French toast, Pancakes and Grilled Cheese and bacon. The openess of the family area was beautiful and comfortable. The bedroom was a blessing to come.back to at the end of many busy days.Overall a great place, with a great atmosphere. I have already recommended Quiet Cove to friends! We will be back!Thank you for allowing us to stay! Vanessa & Wayne
