About this property

Sur La Mer Beach Favourite

Sur La Mer is just 50m from the beach. Tastefully furnished throughout with stunning decorator touches and a modern beach house ambience, completely renovated, brand new kitchen, master bedroom with Queen bed and second bedroom with 2 single beds, spacious front deck and everything you need for a great time.

Relax on the large front deck to sit back and enjoy a chilled wine on a warm summers day, or pack up a picnic and head for the beach.

Beautifully decorated and family friendly home within 50 meters of the beach front, this much-loved cosy home sleeps a maximum of 4 people, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

This property includes air-conditioning, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, laundry facilities, BBQ and large Smart TV.

Semaphore’s white sands, family-friendly shallows and colourful foreshore make for a classic Adelaide beach escape. After walking the path through the dunes, a wide expanse of white sandy beach leads to the water.

Enjoy the greenery along the foreshore – two kilometres of public space preserved for what beach holidays are supposed to be all about. Fun! Ride on the vintage carousel, buy ice creams and fish and chips, cycle on the bike track, and ride on the steam train that puffs along the shoreline.

In Semaphore, our history isn’t confined to a museum. You can often see our local dolphins and seals from the end of the jetty. You can also see the Timeball Tower, one of the only working timeballs left in the world, the oldest working carousel in the southern hemisphere, the glorious 1920s Palais bathing pavilion (now the Semaphore Palais hotel) and historical buildings along Semaphore Road and the Esplanade.

One of Adelaide’s widest boulevards, Semaphore Road, has found a new sense of style. Funky boutiques have opened their doors alongside famous ‘old salt’ pubs. Contemporary cafes are serving beneath the tin ceilings of century-old buildings. Indulge in high-quality food in a beachside atmosphere, where fine dining and great pubs mix with quirky cafes and good old-fashioned fish and chips.

Semaphore is such an exciting place to visit as it hosts many events and festivals in the area including The Greek Festival, Kitefoil National Series, Dockside Festival, Semaphore Street Fair, Semaphore Music Festival, Summer Carnival, International Kite Festival and many more.

Clean and well equipped but poor quality curtains and security light which turns on and off all night, facing the bedroom, resulting in disturbed sleep. No window covering is twin room. Very small apartment with little storage.
