The Cottonwood was a very comfortable home - it was clean and uncluttered and had everything we needed for our short stay. When it says short walk, it does not exaggerate - you can see the beach access from the house. The restaurant across the street was not an issue at all. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have had a broom to sweep up each day.

Love it

The house was clean and comfortable. It was close to the beach. I wish the house will have washing mashing and iron. Thank you !!! My family and I enjoyed our vocation and service.

Great location — close to the beach, and the outdoor shower was a nice touch. The property itself was fine; issues were with the management company.Before booking, the listing was inconsistent (amenities showed washer/dryer, description said none). We confirmed with the property manager in writing that laundry was included, and booked based on that. On arrival, there was no washer/dryer for our entire 5-night stay.Check-in day, AC was set to 70F but stayed at 78F for 8 hours. The living room TV wasn’t connected to the universal remote — took us an hour to fix ourselves. Kitchen knives were rusty, and only one roll of toilet paper was provided for 3 guests/5 nights.Maintenance came out after-hours for the AC, which we appreciated. Replacement knives dropped off on day 2 were a box of old, mostly dirty and rusty ones. But communicating with the management company was frustrating overall — multiple different reps, no response after hours or on weekends, and texts/app messages often went unanswered. Their first offer was a very small discount or checking out after one night. Eventually they acknowledged the laundry error and offered a partial refund.Property has real potential — just confirm amenities directly, and hope management improves for future guests.

Very Clean and Cozy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very quaint and cozy property. When we first walked in it smelled clean and wonderful. Perfectly sized for our family with great upgraded amenities. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants, matter of fact there is a restaurant literally across the street. Even though the restaurant was close, we never had any issues with noise levels nor rowdiness from it.Only negatives we had were that the sprinklers were on around 5pm when we arrived and daily, which meant that the area was wet and we weren't able to use the wonderful hammock during that time. There also weren't really any comfortable seating on the upstairs deck. There is a huge picnic table which is too big for the area and not very comfortable to sit at while trying to enjoy the wonderful and huge deck space.
